WHIB brought a wave of excitement with their vibrant performance in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The South Korean boy group successfully held their very first fan meeting in Indonesia, titled “BANG OUT WHIB FAN MEET-UP in JAKARTA”, on Saturday night (April 26, 2025).
Held at the South Great Hall, Pos Bloc Jakarta, and promoted by One Hundred Percent Production, this event was part of the promotion for their latest single album BANG OUT, released on April 8.
Unsurprisingly, WHIB’s fans — affectionately known as AnD — had been eagerly anticipating this special moment for a long time.
At exactly 6:30 PM local time, the hall erupted with cheers as WHIB opened their performance with the track “BANG OUT,” instantly igniting the crowd’s enthusiasm.
With energetic choreography and powerful vocals, WHIB managed to create a vibrant and electrifying atmosphere from the very first second they appeared on stage.
But beyond their dynamic stage performance, one of the most heartwarming highlights of the evening happened when Jinbeom, one of WHIB’s members, received a surprise birthday celebration from the team and fans.
It began during a game segment where the members were singing Indonesian songs. Unaware of the lyrics’ meaning, they earnestly sang the Indonesian birthday song “Selamat Ulang Tahun.”
Suddenly, a birthday cake appeared on stage, catching the members — especially Jinbeom — completely off guard.
Jinbeom was visibly emotional as the entire audience joined in singing the birthday song and shouted in unison, “Happy birthday, Jinbeom!”
After being told that the song they had sung was a birthday tune, the members’ reactions filled the room with laughter and warmth.
“Thank you!” Jinbeom cheerfully exclaimed.
The event also featured several engaging segments, including an interview session, interactive games, live performances, a high-touch session, and a fan sign — all of which gave AnD the chance to interact directly with their idols.
WHIB, consisting of eight members (Jayder, Haseung, Jinbeom, UGeon, Leejeong, Jaeha, Inhong, and Wonjun), made their official debut on November 8, 2023, with the single album “Cut-Out.”
Since then, they’ve captivated the K-pop world with their unique music, powerful choreography, and each member’s striking visuals and charm.
WHIB’s visit to Jakarta not only demonstrated their rising global popularity but also strengthened their bond with international fans, particularly in Southeast Asia.
The “BANG OUT WHIB FAN MEET-UP in JAKARTA” proved that WHIB is a promising global idol group with immense potential.
