Jakarta was buzzing with Hallyu energy this weekend! Even after giving a full-power performance at the HUG K-Pop Concert at NICE, PIK 2 on Saturday (Jan 17), Minho of SHINee and HIGHLIGHT were full of energy to greet their fans at the Meet & Greet held at the Main Atrium, KOREA 360, Lotte Mall on Sunday (Jan 18, 2026).
Fans Arrived Early, Full of Anticipation
Although the event officially started at 2:00 PM, fans had already filled nearly every corner of the venue since noon, extending all the way up to the upper floors! Fans came in full style—from casual chic to bold, eye-catching outfits—to get noticed by their idols. The atmosphere? Absolutely adorable and full of excitement!
Minho and HIGHLIGHT Charm Fans with Sweet Words
The event got even more heartwarming when Minho threw a playful rhyme with a finger heart to the audience:
“Ubur-ubur ikan lele, di hatiku cuma ada kamu le.”
Too cute to handle!
Not to be outdone, HIGHLIGHT took the stage at 2:51 PM and instantly amplified the excitement. Doojoon, Dongwoon, Yoseob, and Gikwang took turns saying “aku cinta kamu” to fans, melting hearts across the venue. They actively responded to banners, gave thumbs-ups, and moved across the stage to greet fans in every corner. Both Minho and HIGHLIGHT were five-star friendly—no debate!
Handprinting Ceremony with Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Creative Economy
Beyond the Meet & Greet, Minho and HIGHLIGHT participated in a Handprinting Ceremony, symbolizing friendship and cultural exchange between Korea and Indonesia. Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar, joined the stage to present the handprints to the idols. Relaxed and approachable, Irene also engaged with the idols, chatting briefly and inviting them to wave at fans across the venue. Adorable!
Minho Talks About Playing an Antagonist and Promises to Return
The chit-chat session offered fans a closer look at Minho’s personality. The SHINee member and soloist shared his desire to try antagonist roles in acting:“I’ve played many characters before, but I want to try an antagonist role.”
Shawol, get ready! This villain Minho will be hard to hate—but impossible not to love. 😄
Before leaving the stage, Minho promised fans he would return to Indonesia as soon as possible. Fans, start counting the days!
Yoseob HIGHLIGHT Can’t Get Enough of Nasi Padang
HIGHLIGHT also joined the chit-chat. Yoseob revealed a fun secret before their concert performance—they enjoyed Nasi Padang! “Yesterday afternoon, we went to eat Nasi Padang,” Yoseob shared, adding that the moment was included in their vlog.
Before leaving Jakarta, Yoseob, on behalf of the group, thanked all the fans who attended both the concert and the Meet & Greet:“To everyone who was here yesterday and today, thank you so much.”
