Day 2 of AFAID 2025 was packed with energy and excitement! Thousands of fans gathered to enjoy a lineup of thrilling events, from exclusive talk shows to the highly anticipated “I❤️Anisong” concert that stole the spotlight for anime and J-pop music lovers.
Day Stage: Fun Talk Shows & Anime Premieres
The Day Stage was the go-to spot for true anime fans who wanted to get closer to their favorite stars. The interactive talk shows featured renowned voice actors like Shion Wakayama, Kazuki Ura, and Yuuki Kuwahara, who shared insights into their latest projects and answered questions directly from an excited audience.
A major highlight was the exclusive premiere screening of the first episode of Tougen Anki—only at AFAID25! Adding to the thrill, the virtual group Kamitsubaki Studio delivered a visually stunning and musically captivating performance.
🎶 I❤️Anisong: A Concert That Gave Everyone Chills!
As night fell, all eyes turned to the main event: the I❤️Anisong concert. The atmosphere transformed into a festival of lights and sound. A stellar lineup of anisong performers delivered unforgettable sets:
- Sally Amaki, idol and voice actress from group 22/7, made her first-ever appearance in Jakarta. She performed four songs, including the touching “Yumemi Tsukiyo,” from her anime character Kathrina Griebel. She also shared how much she loved the warmth and friendliness of Indonesian fans.
- KAF, the popular VTuber with a unique voice, hyped up the crowd with six exciting hit songs that kept the energy high.
- Liyuu, who missed last year’s event, finally made her debut with a cheerful and energetic performance. She sang five anime songs, including “No Complete” from Kono Sekai wa Fukanzen Sugiru, and mentioned her love for tropical fruits in Indonesia.
- Towana from fhána wowed the audience with five beautiful songs, all special tracks from Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid. Her gentle voice brought back warm anime memories.
- DJ TeddyLoid lit up the stage with electrifying Japanese remix tracks, turning the venue into a dance floor. Then came Daoko, collaborating with him for a high-energy set of 10 songs, including “Uchiage Hanabi,” “Game Over,” and “Step Up Love.” Their chemistry on stage was fire!
- Moondice followed up with an explosive collaboration with DJ TeddyLoid, delivering energetic performances that kept the crowd moving.
- Finally, the show ended on a powerful note with the long-awaited return of Eir Aoi. She performed 10 of her most beloved songs like “Ignite,” “Innocence,” “Memoria,” and “Ryusei.” The audience sang along passionately as she lit up the stage. Eir Aoi also shared her love for Indonesia, especially her favorite dish—spicy nasi goreng!
