This long weekend, Jakarta is once again filled with K-pop euphoria. After Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung greeted fans at Kota Kasablanka on Friday (January 16), it is now the turn of second-generation K-pop idols to take center stage. On Sunday (January 18), Minho of SHINee and HIGHLIGHT arrived to meet fans at KOREA 360, Lotte Mall Jakarta.
Their visit is part of the KOREA 360 X HUG K-POP event series, which has drawn massive attention throughout the weekend. The day before, on Saturday (January 17), Minho and HIGHLIGHT delivered a spectacular performance at the lively concert held at NICE, PIK 2. Despite Jakarta’s unpredictable weather, fans’ enthusiasm never wavered as they gathered in North Jakarta to see their idols live.
A Highly Anticipated Meet & Greet
Today’s atmosphere feels even more special. Minho of SHINee and HIGHLIGHT members—Yoon Doojoon, Yang Yoseob, Lee Gikwang, and Son Dongwoon—are scheduled to hold a more intimate Meet & Greet session with fans. Still part of the KOREA 360 X HUG K-POP program, this moment offers a rare opportunity for fans to interact closely with their favorite idols.
Since Sunday afternoon, the atrium area of Lotte Mall has been packed with fans. Not only those who won the year-end Photo Challenge and received reserved seating in the atrium, but also fans without invitations who gathered around the barricaded area, eager to catch a glimpse of their idols. Cheers and glowing lightsticks filled the space, heightening the excitement.
A Special Moment for SHINee World and LIGHT
Fans’ anticipation for Minho is especially high, as he recently released a new song. Celebrating this release would feel incomplete without involving SHINee World Indonesia, who have continuously shown unwavering support for his career.
Meanwhile, HIGHLIGHT’s presence is equally meaningful. The group recently celebrated their 16th anniversary since debuting in the K-pop industry. This visit to Jakarta serves both as a celebration and a long-awaited reunion with their longtime fans, including LIGHT who have supported them since their BEAST era.
Handprinting Ceremony: A Symbol of Korea–Indonesia Friendship
In addition to the Meet & Greet, fans will also witness the Handprinting Ceremony, one of KOREA 360’s signature events. Through this ceremony, KOREA 360 adds new handprints from Korean stars to its collection, which can be viewed anytime by visitors to Lotte Mall.
The Handprinting Ceremony is more than a ceremonial event—it symbolizes friendship and cultural exchange between Korea and Indonesia. Meanwhile, the Meet & Greet offers fans a rare chance to interact directly with Minho of SHINee and HIGHLIGHT, creating memories that will surely last a lifetime.
