Japanese rock legend HYDE has officially fallen in love with Indonesian batik. During the HYDE [INSIDE] LIVE 2025 World Tour press conference held in Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday (Oct 31), the L’Arc-en-Ciel vocalist showed up wearing a batik shirt, paired with a long-sleeved vest featuring shoulder accents.
“Batik feels really cool and comfortable,” HYDE said with a smile through his translator.
Known for his work with L’Arc-en-Ciel, VAMPS, and THE LAST ROCKSTARS, HYDE praised the light and breathable fabric of batik, saying it felt comfortable to wear even in Jakarta’s tropical weather.
