It’s showtime, pop culture fans! The biggest celebration of comics, anime, gaming, and everything in between is back — and this year, it’s going bigger, brighter, and bolder than ever.
Indonesia Comic Con (ICC) and Indonesia Anime Con (INACON) are making their grand return in 2025, combining forces once again to create a one-of-a-kind experience for fans of both Eastern and Western pop culture.
A Double Dose of Pop Culture Magic
The pop culture celebration kicks off with INACON 2025, happening on May 17–18 at Senayan Park (SPARK), Jakarta — highlighting the vibrant world of Asian pop culture: anime, manga, J-pop, and K-pop.
Later in the year, ICC 2025 will take over the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC) on October 25–26, turning the venue into a futuristic playground of neon lights, superheroes, comic universes, and immersive game zones.
Both events are organized by Panorama Media, and this year’s editions are designed to be even more futuristic and immersive, featuring cosplay competitions, live performances, creative workshops, talk shows, and meet-and-greets with international guests.“We’re inviting all creative industry players to be part of Indonesia Anime Con and Indonesia Comic Con. Together, we can help local talents reach global stages,” said Andita Tirtawisata, Director of Panorama Media.

Two Worlds, One Celebration
According to Project Manager Lulu Anwar, the two events carry distinct identities — but share the same mission: to celebrate creativity and connection.“INACON focuses on Asian pop culture — anime, manga, and Asian music — while ICC embraces the global multiverse of pop culture, from comics and films to games,” Lulu explained. “Their differences give fans more choices, whether they’re into the East or the West.”
This year, ICC x INACON will merge again after being held separately for the past two years — promising a massive crossover event where fandoms collide.“Since 2015, ICC has leaned more toward Western pop culture, while INACON evolved from ICC Pop Asia in 2023. After rebranding in 2024, we decided to reunite both worlds this year,” Lulu added during a press conference in Senayan, Jakarta.
Gaming Takes Center Stage
The 2025 edition also expands deeper into the gaming universe, thanks to a collaboration with UniPin. The partnership introduces an exclusive Gaming Experience Zone, featuring tournaments, demo booths, and esports showcases from international and local developers.“Gaming is now part of lifestyle and pop culture,” said Deborah Imanuella, Senior Vice President of UniPin Community. “We’re bringing together gamers, creators, and fans in one interactive space — from global titles to Indonesian-made games.”
Alongside the gaming zone, fans can look forward to the annual “Raya Cosplay Competition,” cosplay runways, and even 50 free tickets per day for cosplayers dressing in Betawi-themed outfits, celebrating Jakarta’s local heritage.
