South Korean actor Yoo Yeon Seok successfully held his solo fan meeting titled The Secret Code: Y. The event took place at the JIExpo Convention Centre and Theatre in Kemayoran, North Jakarta on Saturday (April 5, 2025) evening.
The fan meeting, organized by Friedrice Entertainment, kicked off with Yoo Yeon Seok performing the song See The Light, the original soundtrack of the drama When The Phone Rings in which he stars. The actor, dressed in a blue suit representing his character Baek Sa Eon, sang beautifully and captivated the fans.
After singing, he greeted the audience and introduced himself in Indonesian.
“Hello everyone, how are you? I’m happy to meet you. Let’s have fun today,” said Yoo Yeon Seok from the stage.
Jakarta marked the last stop of Yoo Yeon Seok’s fan meeting tour. The 40-year-old actor admitted that he felt both nervous and excited to meet his fans.
His nervousness peaked when he heard the loud cheers from the fans welcoming him enthusiastically.
“Finally, I have arrived in Jakarta. I’m really nervous and excited because Jakarta is the last stop of my fan meeting tour,” Yoo Yeon Seok revealed.
“The fans’ screams were so loud, and your reaction was amazing! It was incredible. Because of the loud cheers when I sang my first song, I became nervous,” he added.
Though he felt a bit sad that this was the last fan meeting of the tour, the Hospital Playlist star promised to give his best for the fans in Jakarta.
“Backstage, I felt a bit sad because this is the last stop,” Yoo Yeon Seok shared. “But I’m also excited and nervous when I hear your cheers, and today, I’ve decided to show everything I have.”
Despite admitting to being nervous, the renowned South Korean actor still found opportunities to tease his fans.
When asked for tips to enjoy the event, Yoo Yeon Seok simply asked the fans to focus on him.
“Just focus on me,” he said, making the fans go wild.
The event continued with a talk show and several games. Yoo Yeon Seok also had the chance to perform a few more songs, such as To You, the original soundtrack of Hospital Playlist, Numb by Lim Yeon, Love of My Life by Queen, and others.
Not stopping there, Yoo Yeon Seok was also surprised with a special birthday song from his fans in Jakarta. Yeon Seok’s birthday is coming up on April 11.
Yoo Yeon Seok then expressed his happiness about meeting his fans. Initially, he had intended to be the one giving encouragement, but instead, he received so much love from them.
“Thank you, I’ve gained a lot of strength here. Thank you so much,” he said.
During the 2.5-hour event, Yoo Yeon Seok shared laughter and jokes with the fans. Several times, he also directly interacted with them and greeted them from the stage.
The The Secret Code: Y fan meeting tour in Jakarta will surely be a memorable experience for both Yoo Yeon Seok and his fans.
