Viu and Samsung have officially released their newest reality series, ABRACADABRA: The Galaxy of Ultimate Healing, bringing together Korean superstar Ji Chang-wook and a lineup of talented Indonesian actors.
The series premiered Friday, November 28, 2025, exclusively on Viu, featuring the Indonesian cast known as Team Galaxy. Among them are Pevita Pearce, Maxime Bouttier, Dikta, Vanesha Prescilla, Bryan Domani, and Agung Karmalogy. Consisting of five episodes, the series offers a warm, reflective journey full of healing experiences and emotional moments.
Healing with Team Galaxy: A Journey from Yogyakarta to Sumba
In this series, viewers follow Ji Chang-wook as he steps away from his busy acting schedule to embark on a healing adventure with Team Galaxy. Together, they explore local culture, connect with communities, and soak in the breathtaking landscapes of Yogyakarta, Bali, and Sumba.
Guided by local “Genies,” their journey is fully supported by the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem. Ji Chang-wook also uses the Galaxy Z Fold7, equipped with professional-grade camera features to capture every moment beautifully.
“This series is a powerful blend of storytelling, star power, and technology,” said Avijit Dutta, Country Manager of Viu Indonesia. He added that the collaboration with Samsung not only brings premium entertainment, but also sets a new standard for creative partnerships in the OTT industry—opening doors to new opportunities in monetization, brand integration, and regional expansion.
Meanwhile, Andi Airin, Head of MX Marketing & Demand Generation at Samsung Electronics Indonesia, emphasized how the Galaxy Z Fold7 enhances every aspect of the experience—whether for creativity or personal healing.
Ji Chang-wook’s Heartwarming Experiences Traveling Across Indonesia
For Ji Chang-wook, filming this reality series felt like a true healing journey. He admitted that he enjoyed the process so much, it barely felt like work.
“For me, healing is about resting—because I’ve been working nonstop. Healing is when both your body and your heart feel comfortable,” he said during the press conference.
The 38-year-old actor also expressed admiration for Indonesia’s scenery, especially Sumba, which he described as peaceful and stunning.
“I really love Sumba. It’s beautiful, quiet, and the perfect place to rest,” he said.
Ji Chang-wook didn’t stop at praising the scenery—he also revealed his love for Indonesian food. His top three favorites?

Throughout the series, Ji Chang-wook traveled to Bali, Yogyakarta, and Sumba. He shared a memorable moment from filming in Kintamani, where he had to wake up before dawn.
“At first, I wondered, ‘Why are we waking up at 3 AM?’ But once I saw the view… all the tiredness disappeared,” he recalled.
Through this series, Ji Chang-wook hopes viewers around the world will come to appreciate Indonesia on a deeper level.
“Indonesia is not just beautiful. It’s not only the nature—it’s the stories and the people,” he said meaningfully.
