The solo concert of Kang Yuchan, a member of the boy group A.C.E, in Jakarta has been officially canceled. The news was announced by the agency WAY BETTER on Thursday, October 2, 2025.
Originally, Yuchan was scheduled to hold a concert titled REBEL at the RRI Auditorium in Jakarta on December 6, 2025. However, the event has been confirmed not to take place. Even so, the agency emphasized that the concert schedule in other countries will proceed as planned.
“We would like to inform you that the KANG YUCHAN THE LIVE ASIA TOUR ‘REBEL’ in Jakarta 2025 and the special events scheduled for December 6 and 7, 2025, have been canceled after internal discussions,” Union Pictures wrote.
“After reviewing the recent situation in Jakarta, we ask for your understanding that this decision was made with the safety of the fans and the artist as the top priority,” it continued.
The REBEL Asia Tour will begin in Seoul, South Korea, on October 25, 2025. Yuchan is then scheduled to perform in Tokyo, Japan, on November 8, 2025. Following the cancellation in Jakarta, the tour will end earlier than planned, concluding in Taipei, Taiwan, on November 29, 2025. Before starting the tour, Yuchan will release his new mini album, also titled REBEL, on October 21, 2025. The album is one of his most anticipated solo projects.
The announcement of the Jakarta concert cancellation drew disappointment from Indonesian fans who had been eagerly awaiting his arrival. However, they continue to show support for Yuchan ahead of his new album release and solo tour. Union confirmed that refunds will be processed promptly.
“Refunds will be processed through the cards you used for payment, and the processing time will take about two weeks. I sincerely wish peace and health for everyone in Jakarta,” the statement concluded.
