Jakarta once again witnessed an explosive night as MONSTA X successfully held their first-ever concert in Indonesia through the 2026 MONSTA X World Tour [THE X: NEXUS] in Jakarta. Held at Kasablanka Hall on Saturday, April 18, 2026, and promoted by Lit Xperience, the show turned into a full-scale wave of energy, screams, and nonstop excitement.
Despite performing without I.M, who is currently serving mandatory military duty, the remaining five members—Shownu, Minhyuk, Hyungwon, Kihyun, and Joohoney—delivered a powerful and cohesive performance that lasted nearly three hours.
From the moment the opening VCR played, MONBEBE filled the venue with deafening cheers. The atmosphere escalated immediately as MONSTA X kicked off the concert with high-energy tracks like “DRAMARAMA,” “Love Killa,” “Rush Hour,” “LONE RANGER,” and “Catch Me Now.” Without pause, the stage was transformed into a full-on adrenaline rush.
After the explosive opening, the members greeted fans in Bahasa Indonesia.
“Welcome to MONSTA X concert in Jakarta,” Shownu said, instantly triggering loud cheers from the crowd.
Each member then introduced themselves in their own charming way. Hyungwon sent the crowd into chaos with just one word—“sayang” (darling). Kihyun expressed his feelings warmly, saying, “I miss you all,” while Minhyuk thanked fans sincerely for their support.
Joohoney quickly became one of the highlights of the night. Calling fans “my darling,” he sparked massive screams across the venue. He even playfully complimented the audience, saying,
“I’m so happy to see MONBEBE today. How can every single one of you be so beautiful?”—sending the crowd into another wave of frenzy.
Kihyun also reflected on their previous visit to Indonesia, noting that it had been several years since they last performed in Jakarta as a full group.
The concert continued with a strong lineup including “Middle of the Night,” “Deny,” “Do What I Want,” “N the Front,” “Tuscan Leather,” “Beautiful,” and “Nobody Else,” maintaining the high intensity throughout.
One of the standout moments of the night was the solo stages from each member. Shownu performed “Around & Go,” Kihyun delivered “Howling,” Hyungwon performed “No Air,” Minhyuk brought “Reaching,” and Joohoney closed the segment with “Sting,” showcasing their individual artistry.
Even though he was absent, I.M still appeared through a special video performance of “Error 404,” creating an emotional moment for fans who felt his presence from afar.
In the final stretch, MONSTA X reignited the crowd with “Autobahn,” “Burning Up,” “Beautiful Liar,” “Alligator,” and “Shout Out.” During “Oh My!”, the members even stepped off the stage to get closer to fans, creating unforgettable interactions.
The encore segment brought a wave of emotion with performances of “Rodeo,” “ZONE,” “폭우,” and “Spotlight,” alongside a heartfelt fan project from MONBEBE that visibly moved the members.
Joohoney once again charmed the crowd with his playful words:
“Thank you, because of all of you I’m so happy. I don’t want to go home,” he joked, sending fans into loud cheers.
Hyungwon also expressed his hope to return soon, saying,
“This is like homework for me. Maybe Starship should be scolded for only now putting Jakarta on the map,” he said with a smile.
The concert concluded with “Stand Up” and “Fire and Ice,” marking the end of a spectacular night filled with energy, emotion, and unforgettable moments between MONSTA X and MONBEBE Indonesia.
