myBCA Indonesia Comic Con x Indonesia Anime Con 2025: The Must-Attend Pop Culture Celebration of the Year!

The biggest pop culture celebration of the year is just around the corner. Carrying the theme “Pop Culture Cross Over Celebration of the Year,” the event will be hosted by Panorama Media and will take place on October 25–26, 2025 at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Senayan.

Bringing together two massive events—Indonesia Comic Con and Indonesia Anime Con—this celebration promises the ultimate pop culture experience, uniting the worlds of comics, anime, film, games, and music on one spectacular stage.

The event is proudly supported by PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) as the main sponsor, and is held in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenparekraf RI), Jakarta Tourism and Culture Office (Dispar DKI Jakarta), and the Indonesian Comic Artists Association (AKSI) as the Official Association Partner.

During the press conference, Andita Tirtawisata, Director of Panorama Media, shared that merging these two major worlds marks a significant step toward expanding Indonesia’s creative collaboration landscape.“This year marks an important milestone for us as we combine two major events into one cross-universe celebration we proudly call the ‘Pop Culture Cross Over Celebration of the Year.’ Through this synergy, we aim to create a broader, more inclusive, and representative space for fans, creators, and industry players alike.”

This year’s theme also aims to reflect the creative industry’s growing direction—one that is increasingly collaborative and open to innovation.“Pop culture is no longer just a form of entertainment; it’s now a global collaborative space that brings together diverse creative elements—from comics, anime, games, and music to film—into one immersive experience,” said Lulu Anwar, Project Manager of myBCA ICC x INACON.

Iman Santosa, Director of Publishing and Photography at Kemenparekraf RI, added that this event is a pivotal moment for young Indonesian talent.“Events like these provide vital platforms for young creators to showcase their work and connect with the global industry. Pop culture has become a key sub-sector in the growth of Indonesia’s creative economy. Interestingly, this event is also closely aligned with National Creative Economy Day on October 24. Thus, Indonesia Comic Con x Indonesia Anime Con plays a key role in the #OktoBerkreasi series, as part of a collaborative strategy to support a sustainable creative industry.”

The myBCA ICC x INACON 2025 will feature a lineup of exciting guest stars and activities. From the world of comics and illustration, prominent names such as Bryan Valenza, Sami Basri, Aswin Siregar, and studios like Leker Meses, Archfriends, Novarium, along with renowned Japanese illustrator Acky Bright, will be in attendance. In the cosplay realm, fan-favorite cosplayers such as Katto Kamjit (TH), Kameaam, and Azulacan are set to deliver special performances that fans won’t want to miss.

In collaboration with Unipin, the event will also feature a Gaming Experience Zone with various community tournaments. From the film industry, director Upie Guava will share insights in a talk show and panel discussion for his film “Pelangi di Mars.”

The event will also present an array of engaging programs, including the Raya Cosplay Championship, product launches, gaming competitions, live music performances, exclusive merchandise showcases, film panels, talk shows, meet & greets, creative workshops, a stamp rally, and even portfolio reviews for young creators.

With cross-community collaboration at its core, Lulu hopes myBCA ICC x INACON 2025 can become a key part of Indonesia’s journey to the global pop culture stage:“We hope this event will not only be a celebration for fans but also a growth platform for creators and creative industry players in Indonesia.
