MYTRO has canceled its performance at the Allo Bank Festival 2025. The trot boy group was initially scheduled to perform on the first day of the annual music festival, June 21, at Istora Senayan.
The cancellation was announced by Yamyam Entertainment through a social media post on Thursday (May 15), about a month before the event. The post was then shared again by the official Allo Bank account on the same day.
“Due to internal circumstances, MYTRO will no longer be attending the event. We sincerely apologize to our fans in Indonesia who have been looking forward to MYTRO’s performance,” wrote the agency.
“We would also like to extend our sincerest apologies to Allo Bank and express our appreciation for their support and understanding.”
In the post, the agency promised to do their best so that MYTRO could meet their fans in Indonesia in the future.
“We will continue to do our best, and we hope to meet our fans in Indonesia soon. Thank you for your understanding.”
The Allo Bank Festival was initially seen as a potential opportunity for the trot group from SM Entertainment to perform and meet their fans in Indonesia. However, that plan has now been canceled.
The cancellation was also announced a few days after fans noticed that all of the group’s official social media accounts had disappeared. Fans also realized that MYTRO was no longer listed under Yamyam Entertainment’s roster of artists.
MYTRO is a trot group formed as a result of collaboration between SM Entertainment and Chosun TV through the show Fallong for a Trot-dol: Lovestruck Noonas in 2024.
The group consists of Mr. Trot 2 contestants Tey and Im Chae-pyoung, actor Seo Woo-hyeok, actor Jung Yoon-jae, and Shohei from SMROOKIES. They were initially also scheduled to debut in the first half of 2025 after appearing at SMTOWN, a concert by SM Entertainment artists.
However, they have not officially debuted yet, and now the plan for their performance in Indonesia has been canceled. There is no detailed information about this situation from the agency.
On Sunday afternoon, May 18, 2025, Allo Bank officially announced the boy band XODIAC as part of the new lineup for the festival.
