NCT WISH Joins Viral ‘Stecu-Stecu’ Trend at Jakarta Concert, Fans Go Wild

South Korean boy group NCT WISH surprised fans by joining the viral TikTok dance trend “Stecu-stecu” during their first solo concert in Indonesia, titled “2025 NCT WISH ASIA TOUR LOG in Jakarta.” The concert took place at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta, and was promoted by Dyandra Global Edutainment.

Comprising Riku, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, Sakuya, and Sion, NCT WISH not only captivated fans with their hit songs but also brought unexpected surprises that had NCTzen (the official name for NCT fans) screaming in excitement.

One of the most unforgettable moments of the night was when the members danced to “Stecu-stecu”, a viral Indonesian TikTok dance trend that’s gaining worldwide popularity. Despite some initial shyness, the members danced confidently and pulled off the challenge perfectly.

To add to the cuteness, the members wore puppy-ear headbands while performing the dance, which made the scene even more endearing to fans.“Encore! Again! One more time!!” the crowd chanted in unison.

NCT WISH happily gave in to the fans’ request and repeated the dance, drawing even louder cheers and applause from the audience. The members clearly enjoyed the moment as much as their fans.

The concert started at 3:00 PM local time, with the group delivering a high-energy performance featuring several of their hit songs, including:

  • “WISH”

  • “Sail Away”

  • “Hands Up”

  • “Steady”

  • and their latest track from the album “Poppop”

The stage design incorporated a video game concept, complete with special light effects triggered by the members. Riku even explained how certain floor buttons, when stepped on, would change the color of fans’ official lightsticks in the venue.

💬 NCTzen’s Incredible Energy

The audience’s enthusiasm was evident even before the show began. The members said they could hear the cheering from backstage.“Wow, your energy is incredible, Jakarta. We’re so happy to see it,” said Sion.“We heard you cheering from backstage!” added Riku, which only fired up the crowd even more.

The fans’ unwavering excitement and their ability to sing along to every lyric impressed the group, making the members smile throughout the entire show.

NCT WISH is the youngest sub-unit of K-Pop group NCT, having made their official debut on February 28, 2024 with the single “Wish” in both Korean and Japanese versions. Their pre-debut single “Hands Up” was released in October 2023.

Although new to the K-Pop scene, the group’s popularity is rising fast, especially in Indonesia. The “LOG in” concert is part of their first Asia tour, with Jakarta being one of the initial stops.
