NIKI Returns Home as Headliner of Prambanan Jazz Festival 2026

The long-awaited news has finally arrived. Niki Zefanya, the Indonesian artist who has risen to global prominence under the name NIKI, is officially set to return home as a headliner at Prambanan Jazz Festival 2026. She will perform on July 4, 2026, delivering a special show at the magnificent grounds of Prambanan Temple, Yogyakarta.

Entering its 12th edition, Prambanan Jazz Festival this year carries the theme “Celebrate the Joy,” a celebration that blends music, happiness, and Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage. NIKI is scheduled to perform on the second day of the festival, creating a rare harmony between contemporary music and the grandeur of a UNESCO World Heritage Site steeped in history.

Since its debut in 2015, Prambanan Jazz Festival has been more than just a music event. The festival offers a complete cultural experience, featuring performances on an iconic stage, a curated culinary market, and batik campaigns that highlight Indonesia’s local identity. NIKI’s presence this year further solidifies the festival’s reputation as one of Indonesia’s most prestigious music events.

Born in Jakarta on January 24, 1999, and raised in Tangerang, NIKI grew up surrounded by 1990s R&B influences introduced by her mother. Her musical journey began humbly by uploading song covers on YouTube while studying at Pelita Harapan School. That early dedication and talent eventually led her to join 88rising, opening the doors to international success.

Her career reached new heights with her appearance at Coachella, one of the world’s most prestigious music festivals, proving that Indonesian talent can compete and shine on the global stage.

The official announcement, made on January 26, 2026, immediately sparked massive excitement among fans. Third-phase presale tickets are now available, priced at IDR 750,000 for the Festival category and IDR 1,250,000 for Super Festival.

NIKI’s homecoming through Prambanan Jazz Festival 2026 is more than just a concert—it is a historic moment that brings together contemporary music and centuries-old cultural heritage. Fans are eagerly anticipating the chance to witness her live performance and hear emotional songs like “Every Summertime” at one of Indonesia’s most iconic venues.
