Indonesian fans’ hopes of meeting Park Ji Hoon at the fan meeting titled OPENING have been dashed. The fan meeting, which was originally scheduled for April 19, 2025, has officially been canceled.
The news was announced by HY LIVE through a post on Instagram on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, just 10 days before the event.
The fan meeting, which was supposed to take place at Smessco Hall Jakarta on April 19, 2025, has been canceled due to issues with the local promoter.
In their Instagram statement, HY LIVE explained that the cancellation was due to continuous contract violations by the local promoter, Harmony Entertainment. They also accused the promoter of failing to fulfill their contractual obligations.
“We regret to inform you that the Park Ji Hoon Fan Meeting in Jakarta, scheduled for April 19, 2025, has been canceled due to comprehensive reasons, including ongoing contract violations and failure to meet contractual obligations by the local promoter,” said HY LIVE in their Instagram post (@hylive.official) on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
Following the sudden announcement, HY LIVE issued an apology: “We sincerely apologize to everyone who has been looking forward to this event, and we thank you for your understanding and patience.”
They also mentioned ticket refunds and inquiries, adding: “For ticket refunds and related questions, please contact Harmony Entertainment or the ticketing site AMAZINGTIKET for further assistance.”
In response to the news, HACRANA, which was previously confirmed to be affiliated with Harmony Entertainment, released a clarification stating that they have not been involved in the event planning since March 11, 2025.
“We, HACRANA, officially state that we are no longer affiliated with the promoter Harmony Entertainment for the Park Ji Hoon Fan Meeting, scheduled for April 19, 2025,” the statement reads. “As an independent event production company, which has organized internationally-standard events, we were previously involved with Harmony Entertainment in certain aspects of event planning. However, our involvement ceased entirely on March 11, 2025, for professional reasons, and we are not responsible for the organization, execution, or any subsequent activities of the event.”
Meanwhile, despite the disappointment among fans, Harmony Entertainment has yet to provide a response. Their official Instagram account, @harmonyentertainmentt, has even disabled comments on their posts.
