Jakarta: Thai actor Phuwin Tangsakyuen is making a major venue change for his upcoming Jakarta fancon, and fans are getting more than just a new location.

Following concerns from fans over the original venue, the organizers have officially moved Phuwin’s first fancon in Indonesia to Balai Kartini – Kartini Expo Center, Jakarta. The event is still scheduled to take place on October 3, 2026.

The fancon was initially set to be held at Bekasi Convention Center, but the venue choice sparked criticism among fans. Three months after ticket sales began, promoter Three Angels Promotion announced the venue change, along with a significant upgrade to the ticket benefits.

“After a series of very thorough discussions, we sincerely announce the change of venue as well as enhanced benefits for fans, so that your experience at this fan-con will be much more enjoyable,” Three Angels Promotion said in a statement, as quoted on July 26, 2026.

The venue isn’t the only thing getting an upgrade.

Under the new arrangement, fans from every ticket category will now receive a Hi-Touch opportunity with Phuwin, as well as a chance to take a group photo with the actor.

Following the announcement, several ticket categories reportedly sold out quickly, suggesting that fans were more than ready to secure their spots at the new venue.

Who Is Phuwin Tangsakyuen?

Born in 2003, Phuwin Tangsakyuen is one of Thailand’s popular young actors, known for starring in a number of successful Thai dramas.

He rose to wider recognition through Fish Upon the Sky (2021) and continued to gain attention with Never Let Me Go (2022). His other notable projects include We Are (2024), Me and Thee (2025), and Taste (2025).

But acting isn’t Phuwin’s only talent.

The multi-talented star is also active in music and has released several popular tracks, including “All In,” “A Minute,” “Love’s Eye View,” and “You With Me,” which he performed with fellow Thai actor and singer Pond Naravit.
