PLAVE Sweet Surprises for Fans at Their First Concert in Jakarta

PLAVE “Dash: Quantum Leap in Jakarta” concert was a night full of excitement and surprises! Held at Beach City International Stadium, Ancol, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, the event marked the group’s first live performance in Indonesia, and it was truly unforgettable for their fans, known as Plli.

The virtual group, which debuted in 2023, went the extra mile by preparing a variety of special “gifts” for their fans—from local song covers to games and fan interactions, and even some romantic pick-up lines in Bahasa Indonesia. Let’s take a look at all the fun they brought to the Jakarta stage!

From “Chroma Drift” to BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom”

After an energetic performance of their song “Chroma Drift,” PLAVE surprised the audience by covering BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom.”
Although virtual, the group delivered the performance with high energy, crisp choreography, and a stage presence that rivaled any real-life K-pop act.

TikTok Challenges & Fun in “No Develop No PLAVE” Segment

One of the most fun parts of the night was a special interactive segment called “No Develop No PLAVE.”

Here, the group split into two units for a TikTok challenge:

  • The Hyung Line (Yejun, Noah, Bamby) performed the dance challenge to BIBI’s “Scott and Zelda.” Eunho shared a fun fact: the original plan was only for upper-body movements, but Bamby added foot choreography to spice it up.

  • The Dongsaeng Line (Eunho and Hamin) took on the challenge “Mente Ma.” Fans loved it so much that the group ended up doing it again—this time with Bamby joining, and then all five members together.

To wrap it up, they danced to T-ARA’s “Bo Peep Bo Peep” with adorable accessories, turning the stage into a cute and playful playground.

Find-the-Camera Game: Hamin Wins With Perfect Eye Contact!

During the same segment, the group played a “find-the-camera” game, where they had to locate the camera filming them within 30 seconds and make direct eye contact with the fans.

What made this moment extra fun was their use of Indonesian phrases throughout the game:

  • Yejun started by asking, “Mana papan skornya?” (Where’s the scoreboard?)

  • When starting the challenge, they cheerfully said “Tantangan!” instead of the Korean “Dojeon.”

Hamin nailed the game and won with a perfect score! 🏆

Talking Indonesian Food—Yes, They’ve Tried Sambal!

PLAVE also chatted about their favorite Indonesian dishes, showing they’ve done their homework (and their taste tests!):

  • Bamby said he loved nasi goreng.

  • Eunho chimed in with sate as his favorite.

  • Noah added, “I like martabak.”

Eunho then asked the group, “Have you ever tried sambal?”
Noah, proudly claiming he’s good with spicy food, boldly said, “I’ll eat sambal, then martabak!”

Romantic Pickup Lines in Bahasa Indonesia? Fans Melted!

During the goodbye talk, each member delivered sweet Indonesian pick-up lines that left fans swooning.

  • Eunho kicked it off with:

“One plus one equals two. If I add me and you, it equals love.”

  • Yejun followed up with a skit:“Hello, sweetheart!” he called out while running. Suddenly, he pretended to fall and said,

“Oops, I fell—fell in love with you.”

The stadium exploded with cheers.

They also acknowledged local fan chants, like:“Eee aaa!” and “Gak mau pulang, maunya digoyang!

—cheering along with fans and making everyone feel seen and included.

Surprise Cover: “Sialan” by Adrian Khalif & Juicy Luicy

One of the most touching moments came when PLAVE performed a cover of “Sialan”, a well-known Indonesian hit by Adrian Khalif & Juicy Luicy.

Before performing, Eunho teased the crowd:“Since this is our first time in Indonesia, there’s a song we’d like to show you. You must be curious, right?”

When the opening notes played, the audience went wild. It was a beautiful gesture of appreciation for Indonesian culture and a sign that PLAVE really prepared this show with heart.

Heartfelt Messages from “Aliens” to Their Fans

PLAVE is known for their lore as aliens from the planet Asterum, visiting Earth (Terra). But that night, they weren’t just “aliens”—they were emotionally connected performers who left a lasting impression on their fans.“Thank you so much for coming tonight. I think we’re the luckiest aliens in the world,” said one member with teary eyes.

“I’m so proud and deeply moved by the love we’ve received from Plli today.”

Yejun added with determination:“I’ll keep running—only for Plli.”

Meanwhile, youngest member Hamin shared a heartfelt thank you:“Thank you for always sending kind messages through our platforms. I hope PLAVE can be a part of your strength moving forward.”

“It makes me feel even more motivated when I see all of you smiling like today.”

The crowd responded with roaring cheers and emotion, turning the concert into a shared memory that blurred the line between real and virtual.

Final Thought: A Real Connection in a Virtual World

PLAVE’s Jakarta concert proved one powerful truth: even in a virtual world, the love between idols and fans can be very real.

With local song tributes, interactive games, personal messages, and sweet little surprises, PLAVE made sure their first performance in Indonesia felt like a gift—not just a concert.

The event was part of the 2025 PLAVE Asia Tour – Dash: Quantum Leap, and was promoted by Bigground Entertainment.

For those who were there… you already know.
It wasn’t just a concert—it was a moment you’ll never forget.
