Taeyeon of SNSD just wrapped up her solo concert held at Indonesia Arena, Jakarta, on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Titled “The TENSE”, the concert—organized by Dyandra Global Edutainment—was more than just a performance. It marked a special moment for both Taeyeon and her fans as it celebrated the 10th anniversary of her solo career in the K-pop industry.
The SNSD leader opened her performance gracefully, dressed in a silver gown and adorned with a golden headpiece. With a royal theme, Taeyeon kicked off her set at Indonesia Arena in Senayan, Jakarta, by performing “Fabulous”, followed by “I”. She performed five songs in a row before greeting the fans who had gathered that afternoon.
Taeyeon was seen beaming with a wide smile as fans cheered her name and sang along with her during the early part of the show.
“Hello, thank you for coming. Nice to meet you all,” Taeyeon said in Indonesian. She expressed her gratitude to the fans for taking the time to come that afternoon. She also acknowledged that her fans had been waiting for quite some time for her return to Jakarta. As known, Taeyeon last visited her Jakarta fans in 2023 during a performance at ICE BSD.
“Thank you for inviting me to Jakarta and thank you for coming to The TENSE. You all have been waiting a long time, right? I’ve been waiting a long time too,” she said.
Since debuting as a solo singer, Taeyeon has been recognized as one of the most talented vocalists with a distinctive, emotional voice. During this concert, she performed a number of songs spanning different eras of her solo career.
However, it wasn’t just her stage performance that captivated the audience. Taeyeon also touched fans’ hearts with a warm message she shared midway through the concert. She expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support from her Indonesian fans, who had filled the concert venue.
“Thank you so much for filling this place and for coming to my 10th anniversary concert,” she told the audience.
She added that the energy she received from fans during concerts has been incredible and one of the key reasons she continues to stay passionate about her work.
“Every concert, I get amazing energy. Thank you so much,” she added.
Not only that, Taeyeon also had fans laughing with her playful antics on stage. She amused the crowd by mimicking the translator’s speaking style. The concert then concluded with an emotional performance of “U R”, one of the songs most anticipated by fans.
Interestingly, for this special show, Taeyeon also prepared something unique for her Indonesian fans. She revealed that she brought a special fragrance for this particular concert.
“For this concert, I brought my best music and a very fragrant scent. Now, let’s move on to the next song,” she said before performing “Heaven.”
For context, Taeyeon’s solo concert The TENSE kicked off in Seoul, which hosted the opening shows from March 7 to 9, 2025. The tour then continued in Taipei, Taiwan, on March 16 and in Manila on March 29. The Jakarta show, promoted by Dyandra Global Edutainment, was held at Indonesia Arena Senayan on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 3:00 PM local time.
