Amid the growing number of international concerts in Indonesia, Thai boy group BUS, also known as Because of You I Shine, successfully captured fans’ attention through their “BUS THE 1ST ASIA FANCON TOUR : THE FIRST LIGHT” in Jakarta. Their first-ever fancon in Indonesia was held at The Music Hall at Grha Pengharapan, South Jakarta, and was filled with overwhelming enthusiasm from BEUS — the official fandom name of BUS.
The group, which is under SONRAY MUSIC, has been gaining massive popularity among T-Pop fans. Songs such as “NO MATTER WHAT,” “brother zone,” and “Because of You I Shine” have successfully attracted international listeners, including fans from Indonesia. BUS’ popularity also continues to rise thanks to one of its members, Chopper, who is known as the older brother of Chiquita from BABYMONSTER.
The arrival of all 12 BUS members was immediately welcomed with loud cheers from fans as soon as the event began. Alan, Marc, Khunpol, Heart, Jinwook, Thai, Nex, Phutatchai, Copper, AA, Jungt, and Peemwasu delivered energetic performances of their popular songs such as “LIAR,” “Watch Your Step,” “So Blue,” and their latest track, “Happy.” Each member showcased their unique charm and charisma, keeping fans singing along throughout the entire show.
Not only did they deliver exciting stage performances, but BUS also showed their playful and friendly side through a “Limbo Rock” game session. The members’ hilarious attempts to pass under the bar using funny and creative poses successfully made the audience burst into laughter, creating an even warmer and more enjoyable atmosphere.
Interestingly, this fancon marked the first visit to Indonesia for almost all BUS members, except for Alan, who had visited the country before. One of the members, Jinwook, even expressed his admiration for the incredible support from Indonesian fans. He shared that BUS not only has a strong fanbase in Thailand but also in many other countries, including Indonesia. This was clearly proven by the loud fanchants and cheers that echoed throughout the venue during the event.
As a special appreciation for Indonesian BEUS, BUS also performed “Alamak,” originally sung by Rizky Febian and Adrian Khalif. The performance immediately excited the audience, with fans enthusiastically singing along together.
Toward the end of the event, Indonesian BEUS prepared a touching surprise through a fan project video filled with messages of love and support for the members. The atmosphere turned emotional as fans raised hand banners while turning on their phone flashlights, creating a beautiful sea of lights inside the venue.
The concert concluded with special benefits for CAT 1 and VIP ticket holders, including Hi-Bye and Hi-Touch sessions. Even after the event ended, the night remained a memorable moment that highlighted the strong bond between BUS and their Indonesian fans.
BUS itself is a T-Pop boy group formed through the survival show “789 SURVIVAL” and officially debuted on December 6, 2023, with the song “Because of You I Shine.” In January 2026, they once again gained attention through their single “So Blue,” which became popular on global music streaming platforms, including Spotify. On February 6, 2026, BUS also made history as the first Thai group to perform on the South Korean music show M Countdown with “So Blue,” proving their growing popularity on the international stage.
