The Eldorado area of Bandung was filled with a nostalgic atmosphere as Peterpan returned to the stage for a concert titled “The Journey Continues by Aloka” on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
The concert became an emotional moment for fans who were taken on a journey back to the glory days of the legendary band in the early 2000s. Exactly 17 years after their last performance on the same date, those memories were revived once more in Peterpan’s hometown.
Aloka CEO and Founder, Budi Aloka, said the concert was not merely a form of entertainment but a tribute to Peterpan’s musical journey that has left a lasting mark on many hearts.“We wanted to revive the memories of Peterpan’s golden era. It was on this exact date that they last performed before changing their name. Now, 17 years later, we celebrate that history again in the same place — Bandung,” said Budi.
A Concert Designed for Comfort and Experience
Unlike most concerts, The Journey Continues started earlier, at 4:00 PM local time. Budi explained that the timing was chosen to ensure the comfort and safety of the audience.“With an afternoon schedule, attendees don’t need to worry about traffic or heading home too late. The weather is also cooler and supports a better viewing experience. Plus, since tomorrow is a workday, those coming from out of town can return home comfortably,” he explained.
Beyond just putting together a lineup of exciting performers, the organizers also paid close attention to the overall audience experience. Facilities included a dedicated F&B area, exclusive Peterpan merchandise, and even a Meet & Greet session during the soundcheck.“We want to provide the best experience for the audience — not just through the performances, but in every aspect related to their comfort and safety,” Budi added.
A Star-Studded Lineup and Emotional Performances
The concert opened with Marcello Tahitoe, also known as Ello, who delivered a high-energy rendition of “Taman Langit.” His distinct voice and dynamic stage presence immediately reignited a wave of nostalgic euphoria. His signature ponytail hairstyle drew loud cheers from thousands in the crowd.
Next was Tiara Andini, performing “Jauh Mimpiku” amidst stunning lighting effects. A magical atmosphere took over the venue, immersing the audience in the song’s deep emotional message.
Fiersa Besari then took the stage, performing two of Peterpan’s most iconic songs, “Ku Katakan Dengan Indah” and “Mimpi yang Sempurna.” He shared how meaningful it was to be part of such a special event.“These two songs were a big part of my teenage years. It feels incredible to be able to perform them at a concert of this scale,” he said.
Toward the end of the event, rising star Alexandra Teh delivered a charismatic performance. Fresh off the success of her latest album, she had the honor of closing the concert in collaboration with Peterpan.“This is one of the most meaningful moments in my career,” Alex shared emotionally.
More Than a Concert — A Generational Celebration
The Journey Continues by Aloka was more than just a concert — it was a cross-generational celebration that united longtime fans and new listeners in a shared love for Peterpan’s music.
With grand performances, spectacular lighting design, and intergenerational collaborations, the concert served as a powerful reminder that Peterpan’s songs are still alive and cherished.“Our hope is that Peterpan’s songs will continue to be sung and enjoyed by future generations. Thank you to everyone who came and supported the success of this event. See you at the next concert,” concluded Budi Aloka.
