Korean Actor Kim Bum Arrival in Indonesia, Curious about the Delicious Fried Rice and Seblak
South Korean actor Kim Bum arrived yesterday, Friday (1/9/2023), in Jakarta. He then met with the media crew at the Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta, on Saturday (2/9/2023). Kim Bum admitted that he had not tried any Indonesian food.
When asked if he had ever received recommendations for Indonesian food from fellow actors, Kim Bum admitted that he often finds out for himself when he goes to work or on vacation. Although he knows some popular Indonesian foods, such as fried rice.
But for fans who want to recommend him, he is very open to it. “Usually when I’m working or on vacation, I look for it myself. But if there are recommendations, please make them,” Kim Bum said again.

Then, from the media crew seat, someone shouted several other popular Indonesian foods. “Dodol garut!” shouted a journalist. “Seblak!” another reporter following shouted.
“Seblak is spicy, right?” said Kim Bum curiously, and from the smile he threw, Kim Bum wanted to try seblak.
The actor, who became famous for himself through the Boys Before Flower (BBF) series, said he was happy to meet all his fans in Indonesia. Moreover, according to him, fans in Indonesia have different characters than in other countries.
“It seems that the most visible visually, the personality is more pro-active and passionate. But I’m really happy,” said Kim Bum.
Kim Bum will hold a fan meeting titled “KIMBUM (Between U and Me)“, at the Kempinski Grand Ballroom, Jakarta, on Sunday (3/9/2023). As previously reported, Kim Bum is rumored to be involved in an Indonesian film entitled Tanah Air Kedua.
In this movie, Kim Bum is said to be playing the character Yang Chil-seong, a South Korean who lived in Indonesia during World War II. The 1989-born actor will act as a person from Garut, West Java.
