Through posts on social media, Everline, the promoter, released an apology and explained why they decided to cancel XODIAC’s fancon.
On May 30, 2024, Everline, the promoter, announced that XODIAC would hold its first fancon in Jakarta. This news was greeted enthusiastically by Indonesian fans who wanted to meet Zayyan cum suis again.
Based on Everline’s announcement on social media, the XODIAC fan concert will be held at the Kasablanka Hall on July 27, 2024. Indonesia is the next country to be visited after South Korea and Japan.
“Coming soon is the is the XODIAC inaugural fancon (X To Meet U 2024) in Jakarta. July 27, 2024, at the Kasablanka Hall,” Everline wrote via social media.
In the midst of waiting for the seat plan and ticket prices, fans were surprised by the announcement of the cancellation of the XODIAC fancon in Jakarta on Tuesday (9/7/2024). Through its social media, Everline, the promoter, released their apology.
“Dear fans, this is an announcement regarding XODIAC 1st FAN-CON [X TO MEET U 2024] in Jakarta. Due to local circumstances, we agreed that the concert originally scheduled for July 27, 2024, could not be held. We are very sorry for the disappointment this may cause to all of you who were looking forward to this event, and we ask for your understanding of this unavoidable decision. Thank you,” Everline wrote.
Shortly after EVERLINE announced the XODIAC fancon in Jakarta was canceled, fans immediately poured out their sadness and disappointment on social media. Moreover, this is one of the important events that has been highly anticipated since the group debuted.
One of the members, Zayyan, tried to calm X-BLISS or XODIAC fans by sending a message asking them not to continue to be sad. The Indonesian K-pop idol said there will be other ways to meet fans in Jakarta someday.
“I know there will be another better way for us to meet. Let’s be happy. And let’s miss each other more. I’m really sorry for everything, but let’s stay together. I love you guys so much. I’m also very sad and wish I could do something,” Zayyan wrote on Mnet Plus Chat.
