HOTTESTs, make some noise!
Yesterday afternoon, Friday (26/4/2024) there seemed to be something special in Jakarta. One of the 2PM members, Nichkhun, visited a luxury hotel in the Senayan area before his solo fanmeeting which will be held Tomorrow, Saturday (27/4/2024). In addition to releasing longing, this 2PM member from Thailand wants to be friendly with fans first. Feels like a halalbihalal with K-Pop idol, isn’t it? Even though it’s been over for almost two weeks.
2PM fans or better known as HOTTEST came with their various attributes today. Some of them brought hand banners, 2PM lightsticks until wore red clothes.
Everyone was very excited to meet Nichkhun in person at the press conference session held by promoter, iMe Indonesia. Fans can come to this press conference is one of the golden opportunities they offer in the fanmeeting ticket sales package titled NO.624: NICHKHUN FAN MEETING IN JAKARTA. Its better benefit than just a Hi-Bye session, right?

Press conference started at 4PM at Indonesian Local Time (WIB). Nichkhun was invited into the press conference room by the MC, greeted by excited and nostalgic shouts from the fans. The boy who was once known as the ‘Prince of Thailand’ appeared in an all-black outfit today. He looks even more radiant in that dark outfit! Nichkhun bowed respectfully to the fans while greet everyone who came.
“How are you?” he said in Indonesian. “Hello Indonesia! It’s been too long since last we met!” he said.
“Do you remember when last i came here?” Nichkhun asked HOTTEST, which they immediately answered ‘2015’ for a concert back then.
“Already 9 years ago? I really miss you guys!” he continued.

Throughout the event, Nichkhun made himself a good friend to HOTTEST. The atmosphere in the room was warm and there seemed to be no distance between the artist and his fans. It didn’t even feel like a meeting between fans and idols, but more like a meeting between old friends.
The press conference was followed by a question and answer session. There were several questions that alluded to Nichkhun’s experiences with Indonesia and the things he remembered most from Indonesia. Nichkhun mentioned Bali several times and got recommendations to visit Bogor and Lombok for his next travel destination.
“I heard Lombok is really beautiful, right?” he asked to shouts of agreement from his fans.
“If there’s one thing I want to bring from Indonesia… COFFEE!” he continued without hesitation. “I like the most expensive one, Luwak coffee? Yes, that expensive one,” explained the man born on June 24, 1988.
Of course, many are curious about Nichkhun’s performance at the fanmeeting tomorrow night. But he refused to tell more. Let me surprise him.
But for sure, he has prepared a special song for Indonesia HOTTESTs. A song that everyone is guaranteed to know!
“Well… it’s a surprise so I won’t be able to tell you. But for sure it will be fun and HOTTEST will enjoy it. In my setlist, I changed one song from the fanmeeting in Thailand and I added an Indonesian song. I asked the promoter to give me some recommendations of songs that all Indonesians would know. Then I chose one that I really like and I hope I can perform my best tomorrow! I practiced hard for this,” Nichkhun said.
Communication between Nichkhun and the fans did occur even though the distance was not too close. Nichkhun took advantage of the moment to interact with fans. Every second must be utilized well because this moment will only last about 30 minutes.

For your information, Nichkhun is one of the 2nd generation K-Pop stars who debuted under the management of JYP Entertainment. He joined the group 2PM and debuted in 2008. At that time, he was the only K-Pop star from Thailand before his footsteps were followed by many popular names in K-Pop including BamBam (JYP; GOT7), Ten (SM; NCT), and Lisa (YG; BLACKPINK). You could say that Nichkhun is also the figure of ‘the original visual’ in K-Pop, especially boy bands in his time.
