Excitement of DAY6’s First Concert in Jakarta, Wonpil Changes ‘Healer’ Lyrics to Rapopo

DAY6 finally held a concert in Jakarta after performing in Bali and Surabaya. The band, consisting of members Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon, held their “DAY6 3RD WORLD TOUR IN JAKARTA” at Beach City International Stadium (BCIS) Ancol. The concert spanned two days, on Saturday and Sunday (October 19-20).

On the first day, DAY6 successfully invited their fans, MY DAY, to sing along. Unexpectedly, Wonpil surprised everyone by changing the lyrics of the song “Healer.” He replaced the word “gwaenchana” in the song with “rapopo,” which means “it’s okay” in Javanese.

Wonpil made this lyrical change after hearing it live in Surabaya, where MY DAY sang “Healer” in Indonesian and Javanese as part of a fan project. It seemed that Wonpil was captivated by the word “rapopo” and kept singing it.

In Jakarta, Wonpil performed “Healer” with the Javanese lyrics during DAY6’s first performance. The audience, eagerly anticipating the second day’s concert, was excited for more surprises from the band under JYP Entertainment.

DAY6 is set to perform again on Sunday (October 20) as the fourth show of their tour in Indonesia.
