A variety of exciting events, from music concerts to cosplay, were presented in an exciting and vibrant way on the first day, Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the Motion Ime Festival 2024.
Since the afternoon, long queues of visitors were already visible, eager to attend the event, which combines humanitarian causes, culture, music festivals, and communities. Cosplay parades, games, and music concerts were the main attractions for the visitors.
Here’s the recap:
Carnival Area
One of the highlights during my visit to the Motion Ime Festival was the Carnival area, where various rides, such as a Ferris wheel, awaited visitors. What was interesting was that when I checked the area around 2:00 PM, there was a free ticket giveaway until 4:00 PM, which could be used to try out one of the available rides. This area was perfect for passing the time before your favorite performer hits the stage.
Performance Stages
One of the reasons many people flock to Motion Ime is the performances from many exciting figures. Motion Ime has three stages with their own activities: the Main Stage (where performers like JKT48 will perform today), the Motionland Stage, and the Gaming Island Stage. Gaming Island
Overall, Motion Ime offers a unique entertainment experience. There’s a Korean and Japanese vibe, and the gaming element is present at the Gaming Island area. Besides the activities on the Gaming Island stage, make sure to visit booths like Garena and others located around this area.
Food Area and Cosplayers
One of the rules listed in the Do’s and Don’ts of Motion Ime is not to bring food or drinks from outside. If you’re hungry inside the venue, what food options are available? Here are some snapshots of the food and beverage booths at the event.
And of course, at events like this, there are always many creative cosplayers. Throughout Day 1, TodayStageID spotted quite a few interesting cosplayers.
