Get to Know J_ust, the Korean Indie Musician Who Will Hold a Concert in Indonesia on October 5

South Korean indie musician J_ust is solidifying his place in the hearts of music fans, including those in Indonesia. News of his concert has been buzzing on social media, greeted with enthusiasm from fans.

J_ust will greet his fans in Indonesia on October 5, 2024, at The Sanctuary Auditorium, Menara Kuningan, Jakarta. This intimate concert features four seating categories, with ticket prices ranging from IDR 450,000 to IDR 1.5 million. Tickets can be purchased on ticket sales platforms.

J_ust is known for contributing to various Korean drama soundtracks, including:

Before the concert, J_ust took the time to greet the media through an online press conference held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

This will be his first concert in Jakarta, and J_ust expressed his desire to take a vacation in Bali.

“I’ve never been to Indonesia; this is my first time. I definitely want to try the delicious food, and I also want to visit famous places in Indonesia like Bali,” he said.

As for Indonesian local food, he is eager to try fried rice because he loves noodles. He also mentioned having tried Indonesian food in Korea.

In addition to performing some hit songs, he will present a special performance. He mentioned that he would perform 20 songs, including 2 encore songs (18 in the setlist), and he will sing “Love is U,” a song meant for sing-alongs.

He also recommended special songs for his listeners, such as:

  • “We’ll Be Happy”
  • “Way Back Home”
  • “How’s Your Night”

“These are great songs to listen to every day,” J_ust shared.

Regarding Indonesian musicians, J_ust enjoys songs by Ran, noting that their styles are similar. He expressed a strong desire to collaborate with Ran, mentioning that he often listens to Ran’s music and appreciates calming songs. As for Korean musicians, he admires 10cm. He shared that he has loved music since childhood, initially favoring rock music but later transitioned to calmer songs, which he still explores today.

At the end of the press conference, J_ust described Indonesian fans in three words: “Lovely, passionate, and kind.” He is still undecided about the dress code for the concert, but he hopes to convey the image of a school look from his latest release.
