Infinite’s Concert in Jakarta Ends: Unforgettable Moments

Infinite returned to Indonesia after 10 years with their concert titled Infinite 15th Anniversary Concert: Limited. The highly anticipated concert for Inspirit (Infinite’s fans) was held at Tennis Indoor Senayan on Saturday night, January 18, 2025.

The long-awaited reunion for Indonesian Inspirit was made possible by CK Star Entertainment. This second-generation K-pop group successfully fulfilled fans’ longing, and here are some unforgettable moments that todaystageid has specially recapped for you.

Opened with “Last Romeo” and the Meaning Behind the Concert

The concert kicked off with performances of “Last Romeo”, “Paradise”, and “The Eye”. Sungkyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Sungyeol, L, and Sungjong greeted the Inspirit fans, introducing themselves in Indonesian.

They said simple things like “Apa kabar?”, “Terima kasih”, “Aku sayang kamu”, and more cheerful phrases that made the Indonesian fans happy, like “Semua mana cantiknya?” (Where are the beautiful ones?) and “Mari bersenang-senang” (Let’s have fun).

L explained the meaning of the concert, stating that the 15th-anniversary moment was extraordinary, which is why they chose the title “Limited Edition”. He explained, “Because it means limited edition, many of our performances can only be seen here. We have prepared exciting things, including solo performances, ballads, and songs we’ve never performed before.”

The concert continued with songs like “Inception”, “Back”, and “Destiny”, followed by solo performances from each member.

Back After 10 Years, Energetic Performances and Solo Stages

Interestingly, the song selections were not limited to each member’s own solo songs but also included Infinite songs performed solo by other members. For instance, Sungjong performed “Monster Time”, L sang “Shot”, Sungyeol did “TGIF”, and Dongwoo performed “True Love”.

Sungkyu and Woohyun also swapped songs, with Sungkyu performing “Calm & Passion” and Woohyun performing “Kontrol”. When the group came together again, they performed other songs like “Pray”, “The Chaser”, “Why Me”, and “Voice of My Heart”.

Special in Jakarta, Infinite Teases a New Album During Their 15th Anniversary Concert

Sungkyu revealed that a new ballad song, Sad Loop, which has not been released yet, would be performed at this concert. He mentioned, “We will release a new album in March, and this song will be one of the ballads on our album.”

Sungkyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Sungyeol, L, and Sungjong beautifully performed Sad Loop, and Sungyeol hoped that Indonesian Inspirit would continue supporting them beyond the concert. He promised they would return soon so Inspirit wouldn’t have to wait another 10 years to see them again.

The concert continued with other Infinite songs such as “AIR”, “Be Mine”, and “Cover Girl”.

Karaoke with Inspirit and Craving More Concerts in Jakarta

During costume changes, the Indonesian fans were invited to sing karaoke, performing “Come Back Again”. Infinite also expressed their excitement to perform in Indonesia again.

“I feel guilty for having only one concert here. Should we make it two days?” said Woohyun, followed by fans’ cheers.

But Woohyun joked, saying, “No, just one day is enough. But with Jakarta’s hot weather, I could do a concert for two, three, four, 100 days!” Fans laughed and cheered even more.

Special Surprises from the Members

Not only did they deliver incredible fanservice, but the members also surprised the fans with things like coming down from the stage, signing autographs, and leaving messages for them.

Sungkyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Sungyeol, L, and Sungjong had learned Indonesian to make their fans happy. Toward the end of the concert, as usual, the fans sang a line from the song “Gak mau pulang maunya digoyang” (Don’t want to go home, want to keep dancing) to indicate they didn’t want the concert to end.

“We haven’t met in a long time, so of course, we’re happy this moment has finally arrived,” said Woohyun.

“Although fans have waited a long time, we also wanted to come here sooner. The members felt the same way. But now, we’ve finally made it, and in the future, we will come here more often,” Woohyun added.

L admitted that his social media was full of messages from Indonesian Inspirit asking when they would come to Jakarta. Having not been back since their 2015 concert at the same venue, L confessed that the requests made Jakarta one of the best stops on their tour.

“On social media, many asked when we would come to Jakarta, so it feels great to be here. I understand now why you wanted us to come quickly. I hope we can meet again soon,” said L.

“Gak Mau Pulang, Maunya Digoyang” (Don’t Want to Go Home, Want to Keep Dancing)

As the concert drew to a close, the members expressed their gratitude to the fans for spending the time with them. The 3-hour concert was filled with joy and excitement.

Woohyun even didn’t want the concert to end, despite it being 3 hours long. He then said the line fans usually shout when they don’t want a show to finish: “Enggak mau pulang, maunya digoyang!” (Don’t want to go home, want to keep dancing) and the fans enthusiastically responded, repeating the phrase with him and dancing along.

The other members joined in as well.

Closed with a Grand Finale

The concert ended with songs like “She’s Back”, “Nothing Over”, “Find Me”, “Entrust”, “Up to You”, and “Lately”.

It was an exciting and memorable event, and of course, this Infinite concert will be a cherished memory for all the fans. Until next time, at the next concert!
