Jakarta, December 7, 2024 – Actor Jung Hae In held his fan meeting titled Our Time at Balai Kartini, South Jakarta, on Saturday (December 7). This fan meeting was organized by Brausslive and Diwaku Entertainment, and became a special moment for fans who had been eagerly waiting to meet the South Korean actor.

The event experienced a delay due to technical issues, but Jung Hae In quickly took the stage to apologize to his fans. “Good evening, I’m Jung Hae In. I miss you all. I’m happy to meet you,” he greeted in Indonesian, warming the atmosphere.

After the technical issue was resolved, Jung Hae In opened his performance by singing “The Truth,” the soundtrack from the drama Love Next Door. He expressed his surprise at the situation, saying, “You were surprised when I suddenly went up on stage, I was surprised too. This is the first time this has happened, but I was good, right, when I sang?”

During the fan meeting, Jung Hae In also gave gifts to lucky fans and took photos with them. One memorable moment was when he showed some props from the Love Next Door drama, including a school uniform. While holding the uniform, he mentioned that Love Next Door might be the last drama in which he wears a school uniform, as he feels he’s getting older.

This moment was also filled with humor when Jung Hae In shared that he feels strange being called “oppa” (a term for an older brother). “I’m not young anymore. I’m an ‘ahjussi,’ an uncle,” he said while laughing. Despite his youthful appearance, he acknowledged that he’s not young anymore. “I know I have a baby face, but actually, I’m getting old,” he continued. He asked his fans whether he should be called “oppa” or “ahjussi.” The fans gave various responses, some saying “ahjussi,” some saying “oppa,” while the host even called him “appa” (father). Jung Hae In just laughed at the amusing responses from his fans.

Not only did he talk about Love Next Door, but Jung Hae In also mentioned the possibility of a continuation of the drama D.P.. He revealed that there’s no update on D.P. 3 yet, but he’s ready to reprise his role as Ahn Jun Ho if asked. “No, there’s no D.P. 3. I don’t know when the director will make it, but I’m always ready to be Ahn Jun Ho. If there’s a D.P. 3, I might not need to cut my hair short,” he said.

Throughout the event, Jung Hae In interacted a lot with his fans and greeted them several times in Indonesian, further connecting with his fans in Jakarta.
