South Korean actress Kim Ji Won, known for her versatile roles in dramas like “Queen of Tears” and “Descendants of the Sun,” is currently on her first-ever fan meeting tour, titled “Be My One.” During a recent press conference in Jakarta, she expressed her eagerness to immerse herself in the unique cultures of each country she visits.
When asked about her preparation for acting roles, Kim Ji Won revealed that she focuses on getting enough rest, thoroughly reading the script, and collaborating closely with her co-stars and director. “There’s no specific preparation,” she said, “but I always make sure to get enough rest and discuss the character with the director and other actors.”
As for her dream roles, Kim Ji Won expressed her interest in taking on more action-packed characters. “I would love to try playing a police officer,” she shared. “I think it would be a fun challenge.”
Kim Ji Won also spoke about her anticipation for her fan meeting tour, emphasizing her desire to connect with fans on a personal level. “I’m so excited to meet my fans in person,” she said. “I want to experience the unique charm of each country I visit.”
When asked about her favorite scene from her recent drama, “Queen of Tears,” Kim Ji Won fondly recalled a scene where her character was surrounded by lavender fields. “I really miss that scene,” she shared.
As for her ideal way to spend a week off, Kim Ji Won expressed her desire to explore different cultures. “A week is actually quite short,” she said, “but since I’m on a tour, I want to take this opportunity to experience the unique charm of each country. I’ve heard a lot about Indonesian food, especially satay. I’m really looking forward to trying it.”
The fan meeting, promoted by Virgo Creative Entertainment and Kapanlagi Youniverse, will take place on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 6:30 PM at JIExpo Theater, Kemayoran.
