LACOSTE REOPENS AT GRAND INDONESIA WITH NEW CONCEPT STORE GLOBAL AMBASSADOR AHN HYO-SEOP JOINS FOR THE CELEBRATION

 

JAKARTA, 29 NOVEMBER 2024 — Lacoste celebrates the reopening of its newly renovated flagship store at Grand Indonesia Mall, now located in East Mall, Level 2. This relocation introduces an innovative space, inspired by the iconic Harajuku Concept store in Tokyo, beautifully showcases Lacoste’s French heritage and its signature fashion-sport style. The store’s design seamlessly blends modern aesthetics with classic elements, creating an inviting atmosphere for shoppers.

The flagship store, which has been operational since 27 September 2024, reflects Lacoste’s vision for the future of retail while honoring the brand’s heritage. The new space offers an immersive 360-degree shopping experience, complete with Lacoste’s lifestyle collections – from iconic polo shirts to elegant sportswear and footwear collections for men, women, and children.

To celebrate the opening of the new concept store, Lacoste hosted an exclusive event on 29 November. The event attracted several of the nation’s fashion elite, including Lacoste’s global brand ambassador Ahn Hyo-seop, along with notable Indonesian figures such as Clara Bernadeth, Deva Mahenra, Marsha Aruan, Tamara Dai, and other prominent influencers, along with a special performance by DJ Ninda Felina. This event underscores Lacoste’s strong connection with the dynamic fashion and entertainment community in Indonesia.

Known for his roles in Business Proposal, Lovers of the Red Sky, A Time Called You, and Dr. Romantic Seasons 2 and 3, the actor, with his highly anticipated film The Prophet: Omniscient Reader set to be unveiled, joined the Lacoste family in 2024 as a global ambassador, embodying the brand’s signature timeless elegance and contemporary spirit.

Tennis-Themed Footwear Area

This section features a striking circular design inspired by a tennis ball, embodying the “from court to street” concept. The design highlights Lacoste’s roots in tennis and its elegant French sporty style. This area showcases a variety of footwear collections, from classic tennis shoes to contemporary street styles. Each pair is crafted with precision  and  attention  to  detail,

ensuring perfect comfort and style. The circular layout not only enhances the visual appeal of this area but also makes it easier for customers to explore and find the perfect pair of shoes.

Iconic Polo Wall Area

A standout feature of the store is the dedicated Polo area, a concept inspired by the Regent Street store in London. This display features a wide selection of Polos in various colors and sizes, celebrating the legacy of Lacoste’s founder and Polo creator, René Lacoste. The Polo wall provides an   interactive   experience   for

customers to explore Lacoste’s extensive collection, with detailed information about the design, materials, and fit of each product. This innovative feature underscores the importance of the Polo shirt in Lacoste’s history and its ongoing evolution.
