Lee Joon Gi Fan Meeting in Jakarta Canceled, Here’s the Reason

The fan meeting of South Korean actor Lee Joon Gi, which was planned to take place in Jakarta, has officially been canceled. The announcement was made through a post on UJIN Entertainment’s Instagram.

According to UJIN Entertainment, the local promoter in Jakarta violated the cooperation agreement. The promoter had offered significant discounts on ticket prices without the artist’s approval.
“We repeatedly requested to remove those posts, but they ignored our requests, and it was exposed multiple times,” said UJIN Entertainment.

UJIN Entertainment stated that the discount negatively affected fans who had already purchased tickets at the original price.

Not only that, but the local promoter was also accused of violating the rules by planning to change the venue and the stage layout.
“The local promoter company recently moved the venue and requested the stage to be changed to an unsuitable location,” explained UJIN Entertainment.

Based on these issues, Lee Joon Gi’s team decided to cancel the event in Jakarta.
“Because of the two factors above, the local promoter decided to cancel the main event, believing it would be difficult to proceed with the performance,” they clarified.
“We ask for your understanding, dear fans,” they added.

Finally, they assured fans that they would fully refund those who had already purchased tickets.

As previously announced, Lee Joon Gi was confirmed to hold a fan meeting at the Jakarta International Velodrome on January 18, 2025.
