The K-pop group LUN8 visited Indonesia for the first time to attend the 2nd Anniversary of KOREA 360 titled 2GETHER, held at LOTTE Mall, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Friday, December 6, 2024.
One of the members, Cha-el, revealed that he had heard about Indonesia before, which made him excited to visit a country he considers very beautiful.
“My uncle has lived in Indonesia for quite a long time, so since I was a child, I’ve often heard about Indonesia,” Cha-el shared during a press conference in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Friday, December 6, 2024. “I’m very happy to be here today, and I feel that Indonesia is one of the most beautiful countries,” he continued.
Another member, Jun-woo, expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome from Indonesian fans. He hopes to return again someday.
“This is my first time in Indonesia, and I’m really happy because everyone here is so kind. I hope I can come back to Indonesia again in the future,” said Jun-woo.
During the 2GETHER event, LUN8 held a fan meeting with their Indonesian fans, performing songs like “SUPER POWER,” “Live Trailer,” and “WHIP.” They also shared some of their personal habits before taking the stage.
Cha-el, a former volleyball athlete, shared that he often taps his chest gently to calm his nerves before performing.
“This is a habit I developed when I was an athlete. When I feel nervous, I tap my chest a little to calm myself,” said Cha-el.
The members of LUN8 were also excited to try Indonesian food. One member, Ji Eun-ho, mentioned that he was looking forward to trying nasi goreng (fried rice).
In addition to LUN8, Paul Kim also participated in the first day of the KOREA 360 2nd Anniversary event. On the second day, Medcom friends had the chance to enjoy a mini concert by Oh My Girl.
KOREA 360 was established as a cultural promotion center to support the international expansion and promotion of Hallyu content and related Korean industries. KOREA 360 has been operating at LOTTE Mall Kuningan, Jakarta, since December 2022.
