LUMINA Officially Debuts with “Hello, Bintang”: A New Chapter of I-Pop Begins

JAKARTA, March 11, 2026 — Indonesia’s music industry is entering an exciting new era with the arrival of LUMINA, the first I-Pop girl group born from a cross-cultural collaboration between Indonesia and South Korea under HOUSE ENM.

Amid the growing global wave of I-Pop—highlighted by acts like No Na from 88rising—LUMINA emerges as a fresh force, blending local identity with global production quality. The group was formed through K-Pop ON-I, an intensive four-week program that simulates the real K-Pop debut process, including vocal and dance training, professional studio recording, music video production, and digital release. Through this experience, the five members got a firsthand taste of what it takes to debut in the K-Pop system.

The name LUMINA, derived from “Luminous” and “ina,” symbolizes five unique lights coming together to form one radiant sky. Their official fandom, Starlets, represents a growing community that will support their journey.

With a Magical High-Teen concept, LUMINA blends lyrical J-Pop melodies, modern K-Pop elements, and dreamy Dream Pop textures. Their music transcends language barriers, featuring lyrics in Korean, Indonesian, and English to create an immersive listening experience.

Their debut single, “안녕, Bintang” (Hello, Bintang), was officially released on March 10, 2026, across global music platforms. The song serves as LUMINA’s first greeting to the world—a magical anthem about daring to chase dreams and igniting a new light on the music stage. The music video, now available on LUMINA’s official YouTube channel, showcases energetic choreography and visuals that capture their youthful spirit.

The five members of LUMINA, aged between 10 and 15, each bring their own unique story. Marsila Akwila (Wila), born January 6, 2011, from Bogor, serves as the main dancer and the eldest member. Fara Alfiratasya (Fara), born January 15, 2011, from Bekasi, is the lead vocalist, known for her powerful voice and confident presence as the only member who wears a hijab—embracing diversity as a strength. Kiandra Arundati (Kiandra), born October 26, 2013, from Jakarta, takes the role of main vocalist, delivering emotional depth through her voice. Kadek Isyana (Isyana), born May 2, 2015, from Pontianak, is both lead vocalist and lead dancer, bringing fresh and charming energy. Meanwhile, Jennifer Natasha (Jennifer), born June 1, 2015, from Jakarta, serves as lead dancer and sub vocalist, radiating an innocent yet determined spirit to learn and grow.

Together, they are young girls discovering their own light as they reach for the stars. Their movements and shimmering visuals weave a gentle story about courage, dreams, and friendship. In every step they take, they carry a simple yet powerful message: “Say Hello To Your Dream.”

Producer Young Boss from HOUSE ENM emphasized the vision behind the project: “Talented young artists need proper guidance from an early stage. Music is a long journey that requires a strong foundation. LUMINA proves that with serious mentorship, young dreams can grow into a light that shines on the global stage.”

The members also shared their heartfelt thoughts ahead of their debut. Jennifer, the youngest, said innocently, “There’s still so much for me to learn and adapt to. Sometimes the entertainment world feels so big, but I want to keep trying because I have big dreams to shine.” Wila, the eldest, expressed a sense of responsibility: “We feel like a family. There’s so much to learn, and I want to be a good example for the younger members. We’re growing together, and that makes me believe even more in our dreams.”

Fara added confidently, “I want to show that wearing a hijab is not a barrier to dreaming and creating music. I’m grateful for the support from my family and friends, and I want to prove that diversity is beautiful.” Isyana shared with youthful excitement, “This debut makes me super nervous but also really happy! Please pray for us so we can succeed.” Kiandra concluded with a bright smile, “I’m so happy we finally get to perform together. It feels like a dream come true, and I can’t wait to show our energy.”

With diverse cultural backgrounds and hometowns, LUMINA is more than just a new girl group—they are a representation of Indonesia’s rich diversity combined with the professionalism of South Korea’s entertainment industry. Their debut marks not just the launch of a group, but a cross-generational and cross-cultural celebration set to shape a new trend in the global music scene.

Now, the magic of LUMINA begins: “Say Hello To Your Dream.”
