Indonesian girl group Upgirls announced a series of upcoming events after becoming the new brand ambassador of Kopi Chuseyo. This was announced directly in front of UPtown fans on Sunday (07/21/2024) at the Ice Palace.
Nat et al. also revealed their collaboration photocard (PC). In fact, they will extend the PC purchase until August 1, 2024. There are two bundlings that can be purchased by Uptown, namely unit bundling and sultan bundling, which contain other photocard member benefits.
“Apart from PC, there will be other benefits. Maybe there will be a coffee takeover; usually Upgirls members will become baristas and serve visitors. Later, UPown can play there, interact with the members, and be served by the members.”
“There will be cafe visits at several Kopi Chuseyo stores, and there will be performances too, but the members are secret,” explained Fajar, the Upgirls representative. Daniel, the founder of Kopi Chuseyo, also revealed his introduction to Upgirls.
According to him, he has known about the Indonesian girl group for a long time. That made him want to collaborate with them. “Initially, we supported groups from abroad, even though there are cool groups in Indonesia. If it’s not us who supports who else,” she said.
In today’s event, the members also performed energetic performances by singing several songs. UPtown, who came, also looked excited, shouting fanchants in every song.
At the end of the event, Vey brought sad news to the fans.
She decided to stop working with Upgirls for educational reasons. “Everyone’s spirit to make Upgirls even higher. I, Astrid Veyne Kasi, hereby announce my resignation from Upgirls. The mini-show in August will be my last mini-show. Thank you everyone,” she said with tears in her eyes.
All Upgirl members were seen crying, and they approached Vey to give her a warm hug. The event ended with a hi-bye session and a group photo.
