One of the most anticipated new releases, Holy Night: Demon Hunters, is hitting theaters on April 30, 2025 in South Korea and May 7, 2025 in Indonesia. Blending thrilling action with occult themes, the film tells the story of a city plunged into chaos by a sinister cult that worships evil forces.
The saviors of this cursed city are a team known as Holy Night, made up of:
-
Ba Woo (played by Ma Dong Seok), the group’s iron-fisted leader,
-
Sharon (played by Seohyun), a bold and gifted exorcist,
-
Kim Kun (played by David Lee), the brain behind the operations.
Each character brings unique abilities to the team, helping them battle the supernatural threat.
Seohyun’s role as Sharon, a fearless and mystical exorcist, is a standout. Her costume design combines Asian and Western influences to create a look that is both mysterious and visually striking. Costume director Nam Ji Soo revealed that a great deal of time was spent perfecting Sharon’s powerful yet enigmatic style.
Ahead of the film’s release, a press conference was held on April 2, 2025, at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University in Seoul. Stars like Ma Dong Seok and Seohyun shared behind-the-scenes stories. Seohyun, now transitioning into a serious acting career, praised Ma Dong Seok’s leadership on set:
“He’s not only a great actor, but also an incredible person who brings such a positive atmosphere to the team,” she said.
With heart-pounding action, a dark and suspenseful plot, and a bold performance from Seohyun, Holy Night: Demon Hunters promises to be a gripping ride for fans of supernatural thrillers.
