Jakarta, July 28, 2025 – At a press conference held at XXI Plaza Senayan, Jakarta, Miles Films unveiled the official poster and trailer for Rangga & Cinta, a highly anticipated remake of the film Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? for Indonesian audiences.

The official Rangga & Cinta poster features the film’s main characters, Cinta (Leya Princy) and Rangga (El Putra Sarira), maintaining the colorful graphic style characteristic of Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? (2002), but with a fresh gradient color scheme. This new color choice brings new energy to the poster while still evoking nostalgia.

Following the earlier release of the cast reveal video and teaser trailer that received enthusiastic responses and discussions on social media, Miles Films now launches the official two-minute trailer for Rangga & Cinta. For the first time since introducing the mostly new teenage cast to Indonesian cinema, the official trailer showcases their talents in acting, dancing, and singing.

The trailer reopens the nostalgic chapter of Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? familiar to its fans, while also presenting new scenes and dialogues for today’s viewers. The cast reinterprets beloved characters from the Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? world, including Alya, Maura, Milly, Karmen, as well as Mamet and Borne with their group. Alongside Leya Princy’s melodious voice heard again from the teaser trailer, the trailer also features the soft voice of El Putra Sarira performing Suara Hati Seorang Kekasih, a song by Melly Goeslaw.

This trailer also introduces a new character never seen before. Limbong, the book vendor at the Kwitang used book market originally played by actor Gito Rollies in Ada Apa Dengan Cinta?, is now portrayed by Boris Bokir. This character adds to the lineup of Rangga & Cinta characters introduced so far: El Putra Sarira as Rangga, Leya Princy as Cinta, Jasmine Nadya as Alya, Kyandra Sembel as Maura, Katyana Mawira as Milly, Daniella Tumiwa as Karmen, Rafly Altama as Mamet, and Rafi Sudirman as Borne.

Rangga & Cinta is a celebration of the Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? story that has touched many hearts and gained appreciation from various audiences. Now, we bring it back with a fresh face and a stronger musical touch. Through this trailer, we hope audiences feel a deeper emotional connection as Rangga and Cinta express their feelings through their voices, while also experiencing the power of AADC? lyrics along with new songs that will further narrate Rangga & Cinta,” said producer Mira Lesmana about the newly launched official trailer.

Furthermore, director Riri Riza said, “Making this film has been a nostalgic journey from the start of our creative process. Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? is a very important film to me. In Rangga & Cinta, we want to maintain the spirit of the original story while offering new dynamics between the characters. A glimpse of that can be felt in this trailer.”
