Jakarta, March 18, 2025 — Screenplay Films, in collaboration with Rapi Films and IFI Sinema, has released the official trailer and poster for the latest horror film directed by Tommy Dewo, Penjagal Iblis: Dosa Turunan, which presents a mystery that will challenge both logic and faith. Penjagal Iblis: Dosa Turunan will be released in Indonesian cinemas on April 30, 2025.
The official trailer shows that Penjagal Iblis: Dosa Turunan is a tense horror story featuring the fierce battle between Ningrum and Pakunjara. Pakunjara’s presence becomes a threat to the residents when a series of murders target religious leaders. The trailer also reveals an investigative journalist, Daru, trying to uncover the mastermind behind the mysterious serial killings.
A family is brutally murdered while performing ruqyah on their possessed child. The only survivor is the Ustad who conducted the ritual. The murderer is Ningrum (Satine Zaneta), a 19-year-old girl who is held in a mental hospital for alleged delusions. Daru (Marthino Lio), a journalist, is assigned to cover the case. During an interview, Ningrum claims to be a “Devil Slayer” who entered the world, and the murdered family were demons used by Pakunjara (Niken Anjani) to resurrect the leader of a Satanic cult.
The battle between Ningrum, the Devil Slayer, and Pakunjara, the Devil Worshipper, becomes inevitable. Daru, trapped in the middle of the situation, has no choice but to help Ningrum face Pakunjara and the demons he intends to resurrect.
Penjagal Iblis: Dosa Turunan stars Satine Zaneta, Marthino Lio, Niken Anjani, and Kiki Narendra. The film will be released on April 30, 2025, in Indonesian cinemas. Produced by Wicky V. Samtani, Sunar Samtani, and Adi Sumarjono serve as executive producers for this film.
In the film Penjagal Iblis: Dosa Turunan, we present horror that’s not only terrifying but also packed with action that will make your adrenaline rise and fall. Imagine, Satine Zaneta wielding a machete, slashing demons, face-to-face with Niken Anjani, who possesses magic, can fly, and do anything. This isn’t just an ordinary horror film; it’s an experience that you have to witness on the big screen,” said Wicky V. Olindo, producer from Screenplay Films.
Director Tommy Dewo added, “Penjagal Iblis: Dosa Turunan will bring an investigative element into the supernatural world, creating tension like never before. Additionally, the character Ningrum will be a tough, mysterious woman full of secrets, which makes the film even more intriguing.”
