After reimagining three of their songs alongside Dominique Adhadiaz, Rei Sarah, and Amanda Caesa, PAPION completes the series with Kathleen Ivanka on “Song from My Heart”—a collaboration that brings a more personal perspective to the group’s music.

Jakarta, August 28, 2026 — PAPION is giving four of their works a fresh new identity through a series of collaborations with Dominique Adhadiaz, Rei Sarah, Amanda Caesa, and Kathleen Ivanka. Each collaboration brings together PAPION’s original sound with a distinct musical personality, creating new shades and textures while staying true to the essence of the original songs.

The series kicks off with Dominique Adhadiaz, who adds a playful and confident R&B touch to “Push The Button.” Rei Sarah takes “Sinaran” in a more edgy direction with her distinctive vocal character, while Amanda Caesa brings a deeper, bolder energy to “Chocolate.” The series concludes with Kathleen Ivanka, who gives “Song from My Heart” a more explorative pop approach.

The result is four songs that feel familiar yet refreshingly different—allowing listeners to experience another side of PAPION through each collaboration.“It’s really exciting to hear songs that have always been familiar to us suddenly feel like new songs. The different arrangements and colors allowed us to discover another side of PAPION, while also realizing how far we’ve come,” said Naufa, a member of PAPION.

Seeing Jakarta Through a Different Lens

The musical exploration is complemented by four visualizers filmed across everyday spaces in Jakarta. Rather than relying on conventional or glamorous settings, PAPION chose familiar locations and presented them from unexpected perspectives.

The contrast between PAPION and the raw, everyday character of Jakarta creates a distinctive visual language throughout the project. In this series, the city is more than just a backdrop—it becomes part of the story, reflecting the energy, spontaneity, and experiences behind the music.

One of the most memorable moments came during the filming of “Sinaran” with Rei Sarah, which took place inside a cold storage facility with temperatures reaching approximately -22°C. The members had to step outside every few minutes to warm themselves up before returning to continue filming.

For Farah, the experience of revisiting the songs through new arrangements was equally refreshing.“I really love the new energy that comes from these arrangements. Some of the songs became more upbeat, playful, and fun, so it felt like getting reacquainted with songs we already know by heart,” Farah said.

A Personal Ending with “Song from My Heart”

Following the release of the first three collaborations, PAPION now closes the series with “Song from My Heart,” featuring Kathleen Ivanka. Released today, August 28, 2026, the song carries a more personal message, reflecting on friendship, freedom, youth, and the many experiences PAPION has shared over the past year.

As the final chapter of the collaboration series, “Song from My Heart” brings together the spirit of the project: revisiting something familiar, discovering something new, and celebrating the journey along the way.

The collaborations have also begun to gain recognition on Spotify, with several PAPION releases receiving editorial playlist placements, including Naik Daun, Pop Rising, Viral 2026, and Bukan Cover Biasa.
