PUMA Collaborates with Squid Game, the Most Popular Netflix Series of All Time

Jakarta, December 10, 2024 – PUMA celebrates the return of the award-winning Netflix series Squid Game through a special collaboration featuring a collection of apparel, footwear, and accessories. This exclusive collection will be launched on the same date as the premiere of the second season of the series.

PUMA brings back the tension from the Squid Game arena by creating a collection inspired by the T7 tracksuit, the iconic uniform worn by the contestants in the second season. Drawing inspiration from scenes, characters, and moments in the Squid Game world, the collaboration also introduces a limited edition version of the Suede and Easy Rider sneakers, made even more intriguing with hidden Easter eggs adapted from the series.

The iconic T7 jacket and pants are reimagined with a design inspired by the stair room in Squid Game, featuring a hidden PUMA logo. The design concept refers to the teal green uniforms worn by the participants in the secret and deadly competition. The luxurious velour touch, complete with hangtags and special labels, makes this collection even more special. Additionally, there will be backpacks and hats with similar motifs, featuring the creepy Squid Game doll, Young-Hee. A hoodie with distressed finishing and graphic tees showcasing iconic images will also evoke memories of the thrilling Squid Game games from the first season leading into the second.

For footwear, this collaboration includes the Easy Rider, inspired by one of the most viral moments in Squid Game, the “red light, green light” game. When the green panel on the shoe is scratched, red will appear underneath. The hologram on the heel will also change colors from red to green. Furthermore, the Young-Hee doll hangtag adds to the iconic nature of these sneakers. Meanwhile, the Squid Game edition Suede sneakers embrace the stair room theme, featuring bright colors and a unique zig-zag pattern.

The PUMA x Squid Game Netflix collection will be released alongside the premiere of the second season of Squid Game on December 12, 2024. The collection will be available at id.puma.com, all PUMA stores, and selected Footlocker locations.
