SHINee Minho Successfully Shakes Up the Peak of Transmedia 23rd Anniversary Celebration, “Wait for Me, I’ll Be Back to Jakarta”

Minho from SHINee was one of the K-pop artists who performed at the Transmedia 23rd Anniversary event. He took the stage on the second day, which took place at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, on Sunday, December 15th.

“What’s up Indonesia, make some noise! Indonesia Shawol, make some noise!” Minho shouted, greeted by loud cheers from Shawol, the name of SHINee’s fandom.

Minho wore a sporty black and white outfit. In between his songs, Shawol chanted “Choi Minho,” his full name, showing their love for the singer.

Minho performed “Call Back” and “Came and Left Me,” inviting fans to sing along. The loud voices of the audience echoed throughout Istora Senayan.

The SHINee member also had a brief conversation with the hosts, including Indra Herlambang, Astrid Tiar, and Irfan Hakim. During this moment, Minho tried some Indonesian food, including the famous Palembang dish Pempek. Surprisingly, Minho really enjoyed the taste of Pempek and its spicy sauce. “Delicious (Pempek Palembang), I like this, I like spicy food, it tastes like Omuk, a food from Korea,” Minho said.

In addition, Minho also had the chance to try Bika Ambon cake, which he also liked for its sweetness. He thought that Bika Ambon would sell well if it were brought to Korea. “This is also delicious (Bika Ambon), I think it would be a hit if sold in Korea,” Minho said.

It wouldn’t be complete for Minho to visit Indonesia without experiencing the beauty of the country’s nature. He mentioned that he wanted to visit Mount Bromo. “I happened to get a recommendation, I want to go to Mount Bromo,” Minho shared.

Minho also expressed his gratitude to all the fans in Indonesia who attended the lively celebration of Transmedia’s 23rd Anniversary. He said that the fans were the reason for his excitement and passion in his work. “When I see your faces, fans, that’s what motivates me to keep going and be more passionate,” Minho said.

This was Minho’s long-awaited return to Jakarta, and he noticed the many changes, especially in his fans.

“Now, Shawol is even more handsome,” Minho said in Korean, which was met with an enthusiastic roar from the thousands of fans at Istora Senayan.

“Wait for me, I’ll be back again, I love you,” he concluded.

The celebrations of Transmedia’s 23rd Anniversary ended joyfully. Over two days, the audience and visitors who came to Istora Senayan had a great time.
