South Korean Punk Band Rumkicks to Tour 6 Cities in Indonesia

South Korean punk band Rumkicks will be touring multiple cities in Indonesia this January.

The band, consisting of Yeawon Jeong (vocals, guitar), Choi Seeun (bass, vocals), and Minjeong (drums), will perform in six cities across the country.

According to a post on their social media, Rumkicks will kick off their tour at Star Kemang in South Jakarta on January 6.

The tour will continue to Vandal Gig & Bar in Bandung (January 7), Basecamp 666 in Purwokerto (January 8), Boogie Down in Yogyakarta (January 10), Twice Bar in Bali (January 11), and Gimmie Shelter in Bali (January 12).

Formed in July 2019, Rumkicks has performed at Rebellion Fest and shared the stage with punk legends such as Buzzcocks, Bad Religion, The Boys, Billy Bragg, and Cock Sparrer.

Earlier this year, Rumkicks released Proud of Madness, a song paying tribute to Mad Pride Seoul, a festival initiated in 2019 by ANTICA. The festival aims to raise awareness of mental health and eliminate the stigma surrounding neurodivergent individuals.

The song features guest vocalists Christmas Kwon and SAAE, two members of the local punk band 18Fevers.
