Coinciding with the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia which falls on Saturday (17/8), ENHYPEN held a concert “ENHYPEN World Tour ‘Fate Plus’ in Jakarta” at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD Hall 1-2, Tangerang. The concert promoted by mecimapro was attended by ENGENE (ENHYPEN fans) from various cities.
The arrival of Jungwon cs was no doubt greeted enthusiastically until it became a conversation. The hashtag “EN_WORLDTOUR_FATEPLUS” is still trending on X timeline.
Jungwon cs appeared energetic and stunning on stage. They performed their hits such as “Drunk-Dazed”, “Still Monster”, and “Sweet Venom”. Interestingly, the members also performed a cover song from One Direction entitled “What Makes You Beautiful”.
In addition, ENHYPEN members also took the time to chat with fans from the stage. They even showed off their skills using Indonesian. Jungwon even bluntly expressed his love.
“Aku cinta kamu. Aku sayang kamu. Mantap,” Jungwon said in Indonesian. Jungwon’s expression of love suddenly made fans scream hysterically.
Not only that, a swarm of adorable Pikachu appeared marching into the concert stage area.
Seven Pikachu puppets entered as ENHYPEN sang “One and Only”. They were greeted by ENHYPEN members who seemed to recognize their respective dolls and immediately played with Pikachu. Sunoo, for example, immediately hugged and cheerfully jumped around his Pikachu.
Heesung seemed to hug anxiously while occasionally hitting the doll’s body. As if not to be outdone, the Pikachu in batik clothes also hit Heesung back. As the Pikachu walked backstage, other members also playfully patted the doll’s body.
Meanwhile, Jungwon himself got unlucky. Pikachu’s hand accidentally hit Jungwon in the eye.
Meanwhile, Jake squatted down and hugged Pikachu who was wearing a batik shirt. Jay, who danced with Pikachu, was seen holding each other’s feet.
For additional information, after holding a concert on August 17, ENHYPEN will still greet fans on Sunday (8/18). This is the boy group’s solo concert since its debut in 2020.
