The Excitement of Wonwoo and Mingyu SEVENTEEN at Allo Bank Hangout

The meet and greet event with Wonwoo and Mingyu of SEVENTEEN, organized by Allo Bank, took place on Monday, February 10, 2025. The event, titled “Allo Bank Hangout: Gak Bakal Rugi Bareng Wonwoo dan Mingyu” (You Won’t Regret Hanging Out with Wonwoo and Mingyu), was held at the Jakarta International Velodrome.

Unlike a concert, this event featured a more casual vibe, where both SEVENTEEN rappers engaged in conversations, played games, and interacted with fans. Curious about the fun moments at the Wonwoo and Mingyu meet and greet? Here’s a summary by the TodayStageID team.

Battle to Make Traditional Indonesian Food

In one segment of the meet and greet, Wonwoo and Mingyu were challenged to make two traditional Indonesian dishes: Gado-Gado and Es Cincau. Wonwoo chose Es Cincau, while Mingyu made Gado-Gado.

This session was especially exciting because fans got to see their competitive sides. The time limit was only 2 minutes, and as time was running out, Mingyu quickly poured the ingredients randomly, jokingly protesting, “There was still 30 seconds left, but the time passed so quickly.”

Both rappers then named their creations. Wonwoo called his Es Cincau “Sweet,” while Mingyu named his dish “Gado-Gado Mahal” (Expensive Gado-Gado), reminiscing about his trip to Yogyakarta with Wonwoo, S.Coups, and Jeonghan.

They then tasted each other’s dishes. Mingyu said the Gado-Gado had a strong peanut sauce flavor, while Wonwoo noted the Es Cincau was sweet and authentic.

Fans Playing with MINWON

In the next segment, Wonwoo and Mingyu played games with the fans present. The organizers randomly selected three seat numbers from the audience.

The three chosen fans were asked to answer “yes” or “no” to various questions, including those about Wonwoo and Mingyu, such as the release year of the “Bittersweet” MV and their poses on banners.

What touched the fans was when Mingyu asked the organizers to give prizes to the three participating fans. Indra Herlambang, the host, then announced, “Since our brand ambassador Mingyu requested it, everyone will get a prize!”

Guess the Choreography Game

There was also a game where Wonwoo and Mingyu had to guess choreography from emojis and riddles that appeared on the screen. To answer, Wonwoo had to shout “Aku Aku,” while Mingyu said “Saya Saya.”

In this game, Wonwoo emerged as the winner. As a “punishment,” Mingyu had to wear a cute prop chosen by Wonwoo. Holding a stuffed toy, Mingyu quipped, “This doesn’t feel like a punishment.”

Want to Return to Indonesia

Finally, Wonwoo and Mingyu expressed how happy they were to meet CARATs in Indonesia. Their first meeting was through SEVENTEEN’s “Right Here” concert on February 8-9, 2025, followed by this meet and greet.

Mingyu expressed his hope to visit Indonesia more often. “I hope to come back to Indonesia in the future. I will work hard to make it happen,” Mingyu said.

They closed the meet and greet with a segment called “Goodbye Sayang.” Wonwoo and Mingyu walked from the right to the left side of the stage, waving at the audience while saying, “Goodbye, Sayang!” The fans responded with the same phrase.

Despite their packed schedule, Wonwoo and Mingyu successfully completed the meet and greet. Not only the fans, but both of them also hope to return to Indonesia. Let’s hope this wish comes true!
