South Korean singer and EXO member Park Chanyeol successfully held his first solo concert in Jakarta on Saturday, December 7, 2024. The concert took place at the Beach City International Stadium in Jakarta and was promoted by Dyandra Global Edutainment.

Chanyeol’s concert, titled “CHANYEOL LIVE TOUR: 都市風景 (City-scape) in JAKARTA,” began with the open gate at 10:00 AM WIB, followed by the soundcheck at 1:00 PM WIB.
Main Event
After the soundcheck, the main event kicked off promptly at 3:00 PM WIB, starting with the national anthem, “Indonesia Raya.” Chanyeol then showcased his vocal and musical talents. The concert began with Chanyeol performing “Back Again” and “Good Enough.” He greeted the fans and expressed his happiness to be back in Indonesia after 9 months.
Unforgettable Moments
Chanyeol mentioned that he had prepared a special performance with his band. He performed a variety of songs, including tracks from his mini-album like “Hasta La Vista,” “Clover,” and “Black Out,” hit songs like “Yours,” the OST “Stay With Me,” and several EXO hits in a medley, including “Tempo,” “Monster,” “Growl,” and more. Additionally, Chanyeol had the opportunity to cover an Indonesian song titled “Inikah Cinta” by the Indonesian boy band M.E. He also praised the voices of EXO-L Jakarta, saying, “Your voices are amazing, the best! Because your singing is so good, I don’t want to sing alone.”
Chit-Chat with Fans
Chanyeol also acknowledged the event’s dress code. He guessed the dress code of the fans, saying, “Black and cherry colors?” “I feel like a farmer planting cherries.” Chanyeol had a casual chat session with his fans, called “Jakarta City Scape.” He shared that he had filmed content for his YouTube channel with Jerome Polin. During the shoot, he tried many Indonesian foods, and the ones he remembered the most were sate taichan and lemper, both of which he enjoyed. Chanyeol also talked about his experiences at the recent fansign and his time at the hotel.
Special Message for Indonesian Fans
At the end of the event, Chanyeol bid farewell to the fans. He said, “Your cheers and songs were so loud and made this event even more exciting. Thank you so much, I love you all. Now, I must say goodbye. Today, I am so happy. See you again! We Are One! EXO Saranghaja, I love you!” Earlier, he had mentioned that when he returns to Indonesia, he will ask his fans to request Indonesian songs for him to perform.
