S.COUPS, WONWOO, and VERNON of SEVENTEEN returned to Indonesia for the Wave Here on 17 Dec Meet & Greet event organized by Indomilk and Chitato. The event took place on Tuesday (December 17, 2024) at Beach City International Stadium (BCIS) in Ancol, North Jakarta. Apart from giving special messages to their fans, S.COUPS, WONWOO, and VERNON also shared exciting moments during the event, from dancing together to doing challenges with their fans.
The three members expressed their happiness about the event and the opportunity to meet their Indonesian Fans again. They felt the incredible energy from the fans, and each member shared a special message for their Indonesian Fans, hoping that fans would be able to find their dreams.
S.COUPS, as the leader of SEVENTEEN, was asked how to appear confident and also give advice to fans who are trying to find their dreams. He gave his best advice:
“I hope fans can first recognize themselves, and once they find it, we (SEVENTEEN) will support them, and I hope Carats can enjoy their journey,” said S.COUPS.
The next question was directed to WONWOO, asking how to maintain unity and harmony in the team, something that Fans in Indonesia could learn from. SEVENTEEN is known for being one of the most cohesive and successful K-pop groups today, winning various awards in many events.
“We always try to maintain a very calm and fresh atmosphere so that each member can share their opinions and not be afraid to voice them,” WONWOO explained.
According to WONWOO, mutual understanding and expressing things that need to be shared are crucial in a team. That’s why he and the other SEVENTEEN members try to maintain these two aspects to ensure they can continue creating great music.
Lastly, VERNON was asked about how important ‘authenticity’ is when creating music. For him, authenticity is important in every aspect, not just in the creative industry but for everyone.
“Authenticity is not just for people in the creative industry, but I think it’s important for everyone,” VERNON said.
Through this brief conversation, the three SEVENTEEN members expressed their hope of being able to connect more closely with fans Indonesia.
