Sad news has come from the KQ Entertainment boy group, xikers. The Asia leg of their world tour titled ‘2025 xikers World Tour ‘Tricky House: First Encounter’ has officially been canceled.
According to a post on the Instagram account of the promoter Box Live Asia on Thursday (January 16, 2025), xikers were supposed to start their ‘Tricky House: First Encounter’ tour in Asia on January 17, 2025, in Bangkok. However, they were forced to cancel all their concert schedules due to visa issues and local conditions that made it impossible to proceed.
Through this announcement, xikers officially canceled several concert dates in Asia for their ‘2025 xikers World Tour ‘Tricky House: First Encounter’. The affected concerts include the one in Bangkok on January 17, 2025; Kuala Lumpur on January 19, 2025; Macau on January 25, 2025; and Jakarta on February 1, 2025.
“First of all, we would like to thank all the roadies and K-pop fans who have supported the ‘2025 xikers World Tour ‘Tricky House: First Encounter’ in Asia. Due to visa issues and local conditions, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the ‘2025 xikers World Tour ‘Tricky House: First Encounter’ concerts in Asia. These were previously scheduled for January 17 in Bangkok, January 19 in Kuala Lumpur, January 25 in Macau, and February 1 in Jakarta,” the organizers stated.
“We sincerely apologize to the fans who have been eagerly awaiting xikers’ arrival. This decision was made with the fans and xikers in mind. We ask for your understanding regarding this decision,” they added.
The organizers also announced that ticket refunds would be processed through the local promoters. Refunds will be processed within at least 7 to 14 business days.
This news has understandably disappointed many fans who had been looking forward to seeing xikers perform live on stage in their countries. Some fans have voiced their concerns about the costs of tickets, travel, and hotel accommodations that they had already spent, only to have everything canceled due to this sudden announcement.
