IU Holds H.E.R. Concert in Jakarta

IU will return to Indonesia for a concert in a countable number of months. Indonesia is one of the countries visited in the 2024 IU H.E.R. World Tour Concert series, which will begin in early March.

IU’s latest tour begins with a four-day concert on March 2, 3, 9, and 10 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea. Meanwhile, IU’s H.E.R. concert in Indonesia will be held for two days at Hall 5-6 ICE BSD on April 27 and 28.

Based on monitoring on Wednesday (1/17) morning, there is no further information regarding the seating plan and ticket prices for IU’s upcoming concert in Indonesia.

Before Indonesia, IU will hold concerts in several Asian regions, such as Yokohama, Japan (March 23, 24), Taipei, Taiwan (April 6, 7), Singapore (March 20, 21), followed by a concert in Indonesia.

For Asia, IU will also go to Hong Kong for concerts on May 25 and 26, Manila, Philippines, on August 1, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on June 8 and 9, Bangkok, Thailand, on June 29 and 30, and Osaka, Japan, on July 6 and 7.

The musician, whose full name is Lee Ji-eun, will also travel to the UK, Europe, and America. Some of the regions that will be the destinations of IU’s latest world tour are London, Berlin, Newark, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Rosemont, Oakland, and Los Angeles, which is the last destination in the tour announcement poster.

H.E.R. is IU’s latest world tour in about four years after Love, Poem in 2019. At that time, she also stopped by Indonesia for a two-day concert on December 28 and 29, 2019 at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta.

However, she had previously held a concert, The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun, at the Seoul Olympic Stadium in September 2022. The concert was the first after being affected by the pandemic for about three years.

The concert in Seoul was the only one that took place offline. Meanwhile, other countries watched it through concert films shown in theaters.

The latest world tour announcement comes about a week before IU makes her comeback with the single Love Wins on January 24 at 16:00 WIB. The single was worked on by collaborating with V BTS as a model and director, Uhm Tae-hwa (Concrete Utopia).

The song will be the first single released by IU in more than two years after the release of the Pieces mini album in December 2021.
