Yiruma concert in Jakarta 2024 concert will be held in April. This famous pianist from South Korea will hold a world tour in several countries, one of the destination countries is Indonesia.
After the huge success of the sold-out tickets for Yiruma’s inaugural concert in Jakarta, Springboard and Harmonie International as promoters are proud to announce additional performances to fulfill the overwhelming enthusiasm of Yiruma fans in the country.
Renowned South Korean composer and pianist Yiruma will present an additional show at JIEXPO Convention Center and Theater Kemayoran, Jakarta, on April 26, 2024. This is great news for fans who have not had the opportunity to experience Yiruma’s performance firsthand.
This additional performance is part of Yiruma’s world tour which includes several cities in Asia and Europe. Yiruma is a well-known pianist and composer who has been working since 2001. His debut was an album titled Love Scene and became widely known when he provided the soundtrack for the drama Spring Waltz (2006).
Yiruma himself is excited to share his music with fans after a few years of absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In an interview, he stated, “I’m happy to be back on stage and connect with my fans. It’s a special opportunity for all of us to enjoy unforgettable moments together.”
Yiruma is a pianist who was born in Seoul, South Korea on February 15, 1978. The musician started learning how to play the piano at the age of 5. In 1988, Yiruma moved to the UK and continued her education at Purcell music school.
Yiruma completed her education at Purcell Specialist Music School in July 1997. After that, she continued her education by completing her major composition at King’s College London in June 2000. While still completing her education, Yiruma released his first album titled Love Scene through Decca Records. He also organized a number of performance tours in Europe. In fact, Yiruma became the first South Korean musician to receive an invitation to perform at Midem 2002 in Cannes, France.
Yiruma’s musical style can be said to be misclassify because his works are loved by all ages. Meanwhile, Yiruma’s solo piano instrumentals tend to the new classical or contemporary classical style.
