Legendary American progressive metal band Dream Theater is officially set to return to Indonesia with a major concert in Jakarta in February 2026.
The upcoming show is part of the band’s global tour celebrating 40 years of their remarkable career in the international music industry, titled “Dream Theater 40th Anniversary Tour 2026.” Jakarta has been confirmed as one of the Asian cities included in the tour schedule.
Jakarta Joins Dream Theater’s Asia Tour Lineup
Dream Theater will take the stage at Madya Stadium, Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Jakarta, on February 7, 2026. The concert is expected to be one of the biggest rock and metal events in Indonesia at the beginning of 2026.
Jakarta is listed as the third stop on the band’s 40th anniversary tour. Prior to arriving in Indonesia, James LaBrie and his bandmates will perform in Bengaluru and Kolkata, India. Following the Jakarta concert, Dream Theater will continue their journey across nine cities in Asia and Australia, concluding the tour in Okayama, Japan, on March 3, 2026.
