Yoo Yeon Seok successfully held his first-ever fan meeting in Indonesia titled The Secret Code: Y at the JIEXPO Convention Centre and Theatre, Kemayoran, North Jakarta, on Saturday (5/4). The event was promoted by Friedrice Entertainment.
The decor, filled with hidden codes and warm lighting, created an atmosphere as if entering Yoo Yeon Seok’s own secret world. When the actor appeared with a wide smile and a casual yet stylish outfit, the atmosphere immediately became relaxed. It wasn’t like meeting a celebrity; it felt more like a reunion with an old friend.

The opening segment, titled “Potret Scene”, took fans into Yeon Seok’s personal moments behind the scenes. From funny, touching, and nostalgic photos from various dramas and films he has starred in, the actor shared the stories behind the expressions and scenes, allowing fans to see him not only as an actor but also as an ordinary human being full of stories.
Award Version YYS: When Fans Become Directors of Memories
This fan meeting wasn’t all about idols. In the “Award Pilihan Fans dan Yoo Yeon Seok” segment, fans were given control. They selected the best photos curated by the promoter, and that night, the winners were announced directly in front of Yeon Seok. The results? Hilarious and heartwarming moments that made the actor blush and, at times, laugh out loud due to unexpected fan choices.
Challenge: If You Can Do It, Do It. If You Fail, Laugh
This fan meeting also had a refreshing silly twist with the “Whenever Possible Challenge” segment. Here, Yeon Seok shed his elegant actor persona and turned into a makeshift variety show participant.
From throwing gonggi into a marker (and failing several times), playing ping pong on a toy train, to guessing his own work from pieces of a press conference—which ended up making him embarrassed because… he forgot.
Equally amusing was the Indonesian food drawing quiz, which became a challenge in itself. Three pictures appeared on the screen: satay, fried rice, and kopi luwak. His guesses? Half correct, half random. But his confused expression and innocent comments made the audience laugh out loud.

It wouldn’t have been complete if the night wasn’t closed with music. In the encore segment, Yoo Yeon Seok gave a sweet surprise by singing nearly six songs as the grand finale—more than usual. The reason? Because Indonesia was the final country in his fan meeting tour, and he wanted to give the most special memory.
